Meanwhile, back with Jay & Erin:
Jay's POV: As me and Erin sat on the couch together, I laughed when I saw Erin eating her spaghetti I made for dinner with her plate on her stomach. Looking up at me, Erin was confused as to why I was laughing. "What?" I then looked down at her stomach. "Didn't know that our daughter was a table?" I then went to sit down next to her and wrapped my arm around her. Erin laughed a bit and smiled as she went to take another bit. "Hey, you take advantage of the bump while you can. Easy table." I smiled and agreed with her. "So, tomorrow's Friday."

Erin smiled and agreed with me. "Yeah, our first one since we started our leaves. Think people are going to be jealous that we are on leave when our daughter hasn't even been born yet?" I then looked at her and sighed. "Remember, we technically aren't on leave. We are just working from home. And honestly, I am positive that is what you really want to be doing right now anyways." Erin nodded. "When you are 7 1/2 months pregnant, it starts to get hard to sit up in a desk chair and wear clothes. I mean, look at what I'm wearing. This is comfortable."

I nodded and agreed. "Well, technically my clothes are always comfortable." Erin smiled when I said that because she was currently wearing some of my gym shorts and one of my dirty t-shirts. "Remind me why you wear one of my dirty t-shirts instead of one of my clean ones?" Erin then looked at me. "Because then the shirt I wear smells like you still." That's when I saw Lucky walk into the living room and move to lay down by the fireplace we have in there. "I think she's pretty much made the place her own hasn't she?" Erin nodded and smiled when I said that.

"She's basically owned the place ever since we got her." I thought about it and laughed. "Well, it helps that I'm such a pushover when it comes to her. Oh god, imagine what that means when it comes to our little girl here. How much of a pushover am I going to be when she's born?" Erin laughed when I said that. "Let's just say that I already have a new hairstyle for you when she gets to be a toddler." I looked at her confused. "I am not changing my hairstyle. This hairstyle makes me look like a cool dad and I would like to keep it that way." Erin smiled.

"Oh, so when little Olivia here wants to play dress up or hair salon with her daddy, you're going to say no?" I then shook my head. "Not a chance. I am going to play with her and I will play whatever game she wants." Erin then smiled and kissed my arm as I said that. "Exactly why you are going to get a new hairstyle. Your hair has to grow out so that you guys can play hair salon. She's going to want to put your hair in elastics and pretend to cut it or something." I nodded and agreed. "Just remind me to hide the scissors from her. Don't need her to really cut my hair."

Erin nodded and agreed before running her fingers through my hair. "You need me to cut your hair again sometime? It's starting to get a little longer than you normally have it?" I then looked at her and laughed. However, Erin wasn't laughing and I just looked at her. "Oh, you're being serious?" Erin then nodded. "You really think I am just going to let you keep growing out your hair until the barbershops open up again? Not a chance. I like your hair like this." I agreed and nodded when I saw Erin keep eating. "Listen, let's keep eating. Then we can relax."

Erin laughed and smiled. "Yeah, because I am starting to get worried that it's going to fall onto the ground and then it'll become her supper." I then shook my head. "Not happening. She is not allowed to eat human food. She has a diet to keep her in tip top shape. She may not be a police dog right now but, maybe in the future when we are done our leaves she can try and be a cop dog again. I will take her on a run tomorrow. Unless you want to join me at the dog park?" Erin through about it and smiled at the idea of joining us at the dog park. "I'd love that."

I smiled and was about to kiss her when I got a call on my apple watch. I saw it was Antonio and then sighed. "Wonder if he heard that we started our leaves?" Erin shrugged. "Just answer it." I then nodded while answering Antonio's call. "Hey Antonio, what's up?" Antonio then laughed. "A lot of updates. I've just checked my e-mail. What's this about you guys being on leave?" I then sighed when he said that. "Yeah, we decided to take leave until Erin's birth. We were set to start soon but...we are really just working from home instead of going into the district."
