One Chicago: Health First Part 4

Chapter 1269

An Hour Later, after spending some time in bed together:
Matt's POV: As I woke up from a nap, I sighed because I hated the fact that I fell asleep after making love to Gabby. That's when I went to roll over to where she was supposed to be when I saw that her side of the bed was empty. Sitting up, I heard the bath running and smiled at the thought of me and her taking a bath together. The bath at home was too small to do it so, I always loved it when we came to hotels. It gave us time to lay down in a warm bath while we held each other close. That's when I decided to reach over and grab my towel to get out of bed.

Wrapping my towel around my waist, I smiled when I walked over to the washroom before opening the door. That's when I saw Gabby sitting on the edge of the bath while just wearing a towel around her body. "Seems like we fell asleep after getting close to one another in bed." Gabby then turned to look at me when she heard my voice and smiled at me. "Hey, it's okay. You have a good rest?" I nodded and smiled as I walked over to her. I then grabbed her hands and moved to stand behind her while intertwining our fingers. "Care for some company in the bath?" Gabby then thought about it and smiled as she turned around in my arms to look at me.

"I think we both already know that I love it when we are in the bath together. It's so relaxing. Having both your hands on my body as well as the jets calming me down. It's perfect." I smiled and agreed with what she said before feeling her arms wrap themselves around my waist. I then did the same before leaning down to kiss her softly. "I love you Gabby and this is how I love to see you. You are so relaxed right now and I promise you right now. I will always be here for you. Just promise me that you will let me know what I can do to make you feel like this every day."

Gabby smiled when I said that and nodded. "Well, I am not sure that we can achieve that considering it would achieve always having Matteo at a babysitter's place at night." I then smiled when she did that before going to grab her towel. I then went to take it off and put it on the counter right behind me. I then smiled as I went to take off my own towel before looking at her. I then went to grab her hand and smiled while moving to get in the bath. Gabby then got in with me and smiled as she moved to lay down in my arms. 

Wrapping my arms around her before kissing her head, I smiled as I rubbed her back. "You know, I think we need to do this once a month. That is something we keep saying in the past but recently, we have given up on the idea of having a monthly date night. However, we really need to make sure we start doing it again Gabby. It will be so healthy for both our relationship and your health. Sometimes we need this more than we realize it. It's only when we actually get out of the house and get alone that we realize this."

Gabby nodded and agreed with me as I moved my hand to her head. Kissing her forehead softly, I smiled as I ran my fingers through her hair. "You want me to wash you or are you okay...." Gabby then looked up at me and kissed me softly. "Matt, just shut up right now and turn on the jets. We are here to relax and have a nice romantic time together. You talking is not helping." I laughed and agreed as I reached for the jet remote.

Turning the jets on for Gabby, I smiled as I moved to kiss her forehead again before leaning down to kiss her slowly. I smiled as we just took some time to relax in the bath and share a long kiss that afternoon because it seemed to be exactly what Gabby needed from me right now. It seemed to be almost instantaneous that Gabby's muscles just completely relaxed from how tense they were when we got into the bath together. That was exactly what I wanted for her and was just glad that I could help make that happen.

Gabby was the love of my life and I hated having to watch her be so stressed out all the time. That was something Gabby already knew and she understood that. I just wish sometimes that maybe she could open up more and let me in to help her. But, I am not going to complain about that right now considering that is exactly what she just did while we were laying in bed and now, here while we are in the bath. All I am going to do right now, is enjoy the quiet time that we have been blessed with and enjoy time with my gorgeous wife.
