30 minutes later when Jay & Erin are finally home:
Erin's POV
: After making our way home, I smiled when I watched Jay pull into the driveway. That's when I felt him grab my hand. "Relax okay? You are going to stress yourself out." I then sighed and agreed. "Sorry, it's just exciting. I haven't seen her since I found out I was pregnant. By the way, I expect you to say thank you to her." I was about to get out when Jay stopped me. "Sorry, what?" I then turned to look at him. "She's the reason that I'm back in town. She helped with getting the Bunny plea deal which involved me leaving town all changed so that I could come back to town. Babe, we already went over all of this."

Jay then nodded and remembered exactly what I was talking about. I then smiled when I finally got out before making my way over to Hank and Olivia. "God, what a nice surprise." Hank then smiled as he got up. He then went to hug me when I went for Olivia first. "Sorry Hank, I saw you a couple days ago. I haven't seen Olivia since we learned I was pregnant." Hank then nodded and agreed. "What are you doing in town Olivia?" Olivia then laughed and smiled. "A case of course. Maybe also to see how you and Jay are doing considering she's due..." Jay then finished her sentence. "...in exactly 2 months. Let's just say that I am taking advantage of the sleep."

Hank then looked at him and slapped his arm. Jay then turned to look at him. "Hank, relax okay? I am trying to make a joke with my guest. Anyways...you should've told me that you were coming over. Then, we would've said something and we would've been here sooner. Now, can you please let me by so that I can get the formalities out of the way?" I then turned to look at Jay, confused when he looked down at Lucky. "Lucky, sit." Lucky then sat down. "Olivia, I want you to introduce you to my service dog. Her name is Lucky." Olivia then nodded before walking over to me. "Nice to see you again Jay. I remember that you came once maybe 2 years ago?"

I nodded and agreed, remembering that. "Right, forgot about that. I then saw her pet Lucky and then looked at Hank. "How's stuff been at the district Hank?" Hank then laughed. "Jay, you've literally been on leave for less than 72 hours. We are fine. However, I expect you to be on call Monday. We just got a homicide that deals with a veteran. That okay?" Jay then sighed and bit his lip. "I'll try but, we'll see. Wait, why is intelligence taking the case?" Hank sighed. "Because I asked homicide to give it to use. We have people in our unit that are ex-military so, I knew it would be personal for you guys. Might get it solved faster than a normal homicide investigation."

Olivia then smiled. "That's actually where I come in. I brought the file with me. But, can we get inside maybe? It's starting to get cold. Got, you were right Hank. It's colder here in Chicago than it is in New York." Hank laughed and smiled when she said that. Meanwhile, I went to unlock the door with my key so that I can let them into the house. "Jay, think you can bring Hank and Olivia to the living room? Get them some drinks and get Olivia the WiFi? I need to go do the one thing I hate about being pregnant. God, do they literally have to make you do this every hour." Jay knew exactly what I was talking about as he nodded.

Jay's POV: After letting us all inside the house, I watched as Erin took off her shoes before bolting upstairs to the bedroom so she could go to the washroom. I then closed the door behind everybody before going to let Lucky off her leach. "Go lay down girl. Bed." Hank smiled when I did that. "Now, Erin just has to train you to be that obedient." I looked up at him and gave him a glare. "Really Hank, a joke about Lucky? Not really appropriate considering how serious the reason why I need to have her as a service dog." I then looked at Olivia. "You need some water?"

Olivia then nodded, smiling. "Yes please. Then, maybe I can get you to set my laptop up for me?" I agreed and smiled. "Here, let me have it and I will do that first." Olivia nodded and gave me her laptop. Once I had it, I walked over to the living room and setting it up on the TV. It was easier to look at it when it was on the big screen. And since we had one in our living room, I was definitely going to use it. Once I turned it on, I saw that she had a password. "Olivia, you need to login." Olivia then nodded as she walked over. "Just get us our drinks, I'll set this up except WiFi." I agreed and then walked over to the kitchen to get us some drinks.

That's when I saw Hank there and turned to look at him. "Listen, I want to talk to you about something." I then went to grab some glasses for everybody. Hank then turned to look at me concerned. "Erin okay?" I nodded and looked at him. "I am going to be watching her. If I say that this is too much for her, I need you to back me up. And I also need you to keep an eye out. Please Hank, we are so close to meeting her...I would hate that she gets really stressed out by a case and something bad happens." Hank then nodded and agreed. "Jay, you never have to ask me to be on the side of Erin's health. I trust your judgment 100%."

I then sighed when he said that when I heard Erin. She came down pretty fast and just stared at me. "Jay, I don't want to hear anything about it. I am working this case." I then glared at her. "Erin, you are going to work until I think it's too much. I am not going to risk your health or our daughter's health just because you want to work a case. Erin, I want to trust you that you know your limits. However, I am not scared to pull the husband card. So please babe, you need to understand that when I say enough...I mean enough." Erin then just walked away and was mad. She then headed back upstairs and I knew that I just screwed up.

Turning to look at Hank, I sighed as I looked at him. "Hank, can you watch Lucky and just entertain Olivia while she's here. I need to go talk to Erin. Obviously this isn't the best start to a work meeting. However, I need to lay down the law. Please tell me that you are on my side when it comes to this." Hank then looked at me and nodded. "I am always going to be on the side of Erin's health. And if that means taking your side and trusting your judgment, then that is what I am going to do." I nodded and smiled as I went to hug him. "Thanks." I then went to walk away and looked at Lucky. "Stay." Lucky then went to lay down while I made my way upstairs to the bedroom so I can talk to Erin.
