Eddy had been religiously checking the mail, luckily the employees had gotten somewhat used to him being there. They were far less wary of him, seeing as they didn't fully trust him. Eddy thought that was fair though. He was hardly trust worthy compared to Brett. He shuffled through the envelopes until he saw one with a familiar scratch on it. It was from Alex! He grasped it tightly, "Brett!"

He called for the man that was nearby to make his employees feel safer about Eddy's presence . He needed to tell him it was go time.

"Yeah?" Brett said, looking up from his laptop. He had been overseeing a shipment through webcams for the past hour and was now answering emails from his contacts abroad. Having Eddy around was a comfort, and he found himself working more and more from home as that's where Eddy was. He enjoyed having Eddy around, definitely more than he should. "What's up?"

"I got Alex's letter confirmation! It has a copy of the house blueprints for Inu and a little work schedule so we know what times. It's all up to us now," Eddy had been keeping his mind busy with the plans, this kept him away from his depressive thoughts. He had things to occupy him and work towards. He didn't know what the future would bring, not for any of them. He could only hope that everyone would be safe. Eddy walked to where Brett was so he wouldn't have to shout to him. It felt more natural now to be walking around the place that had imprisoned him. He was also warming up to Brett again naturally. Not because of manipulation or some warped way of trying to right his wrongs. It was just chill, like falling back into the friendship they once had despite not really knowing each other well anymore.

That made Brett's heart jump with both excitement and a smidge of dread. It meant that the calm life they had started to settle into while waiting would be torn up, and that there was a way too big chance for Eddy to decide to leave after all.
"Oh, that's great news," he still heard himself say, and he even managed a smile. "Let me gather everyone. It's showtime."

"I guess it is," Eddy smiled. He was nervous about it all because he knew nothing ever went as planned. Not to mention they didn't even know where they would go from here. Would Eddy leave with Alex to disappear somewhere, or would Alex go to his native lands alone? Eddy found himself okay with either. He loved Alex but he was also at peace with being able to leave things on good notes.

Brett pulled his phone out of his pocket to message everyone to meet them in half an hour. Some of the guys had the day off, but they would have to get a different day off instead. They had limited time to act, as the organization could be onto them. The longer they got to figure things out, the riskier it got. Preferably they'd get the guy out of there as soon as possible.

Inu got the message when he was in bed with his girlfriend. Fortunately, it was just cuddles so the buzz from his night stand didn't interrupt anything. Gently he kissed her temple, brushing her long black hair out of her face, "Sorry Rosemary, I think work is summoning me. I love you."
She gave a little understanding hum, "I love you too, Inu. Be safe."
Rosemary knew that Inu's job was dangerous so it was always best to send him off with an 'I love you' and a 'Be safe' because she never knew if he would come back.
With that Inu slipped out of bed, grabbing his phone and his work clothes. Quietly he changed so as to not disturb his girlfriend's rest. He walked out of the bedroom as he checked his phone, seeing Brett's message, "I guess I gotta get my tools too. Hmm now where did I put them?"
He talked to himself, probably a bit too often. It was a strange habit that he didn't care to change. It hadn't harmed anything yet. Key word yet. In all honesty he wasn't excited to go to work and try to save that guy. He was kind of scary and his aura was very threatening in Inu's mind. This was probably a huge risk but their Boss seemed ready to do anything that Eddy would ask of him. Which in turn meant the workers had to as well. He didn't dislike Eddy nor did he like him, he was aware that the assassin was just doing his job and in the end had to do whatever he had to do to get it done. They did their job too and got it done no matter what, in the end they were all just workers. Some simply had better work and bosses. Inu really did appreciate Brett for who he was, but he didn't always understand him. He wishes he did, but for now he would just trust Brett. Once he found his tools, he headed to work.
