This was honestly the best part of the plan. Victor loved getting to drive in a big van with lots of room that made him feel like the king of the road. He had more people in the back of it than was allowed, but he wasn't worried about getting stopped or anything like that. He could out-drive any cop.
He stopped the car across the road from the target, keeping the engine running. The plan was for him to keep lookout from there unless he was needed inside.
"We're here," he said through the bars to the back where the rest of the crew was stowed.Eddy nodded looking at the familiar house. He knew it well as he should since he had lived there. He glanced back at Inu,"You're up."
He spoke softly. Inu simply nodded and got up, creeping out of the van. He had to be very careful to walk in the blindspots of the cameras that were outlined in the papers. Even if Eddy said they barely watched when Alex was out, it never hurt to be safe. Inu wanted to stay unseen.Ray stayed in the back of the van as he waited for Inu to signal to them that the house was ready for them. He was nervous about the whole thing, not really being used to sneaking around like this. He took a moment to look over his stuff, just to be sure he had everything. A scalpel, some cotton, the sterile syringe and the anaesthetic. He also had some other basic things, and of course something to sterilize the work area. It wasn't great to do any kind of surgery outside an OR, but he could make do with smaller things like this.
Eddy kept an eye on the time and an eye on Inu,watching the man slink behind the building. Presumably to dismantle all the cameras and bugs. Eddy leaned back, feeling a bit antsy. He kept that to himself though. He would leave it all to Inu and make himself trust the man. Although he had trust issues so it was difficult.
Inu looked for the panel that was on the blue prints. Once he found it he made quick work of unscrewing it and laying the panel to the side, it was now time for the complicated stuff.Victor tapped the steering wheel impatiently. He watched down the street, trying to see if he could guess which rooftop their assassin had taken up camp. He guessed it would be the one just across the street, maybe.
Eddy glanced at Victor then back to the window. He felt weird being left with Brett's crew without Brett, but he liked Ray so it made it less weird. Or more weird depending on the person's perspective. Part of him wanted to hop out of the van aqnd go supervise Inu. He figured he shouldn't because it would only pressure the guy and probably screw him up. Breathing down someone's neck was never a good idea. It seemed to be taking forever! He just wanted Inu to be done and give them an alright, "Once he finishes I still have the keys to the house if you want to set up Ray."
Eddy would also probably look for things that he knew Alex would want so they didn't waste time with packing.
"I'd like that, yeah. Gives me time to prepare a sterile ish surface," Ray nodded, going over everything again in his head. He hadn't performed a surgery like this one before, but he had performed similar ones. It would be okay, he felt confident about it. At least if he ignored the fact that the man he was performing the surgery on probably wouldn't like him a whole lot and would be sceptical of the whole thing.'Okay, then I will let you in once Inu gives us an okay," Eddy wondered to himself if he should have tried to warn Alex about the other assassin, so there wouldn't be a pissing contest but with guns. Eddy thought about it. Yeah he should have, he would have to tell Alex that she was one of them so there was no complications. He would make sure to be quick about telling Alex when he arrived at home.
"Sounds good," Ray nodded, closing his fist around the bag in his hand.
Victor eventually spotted a tiny glimmer of something metal on one of the rooftops. It wasn't the one he expected, but he quickly realized it would have to be where their assassin had taken up camp. She was badass, she had beaten up all the guys that had dared approach her. He was okay with not being too interested in trying to get with ladies in general, especially when he was reminded about how creepy it could seem to be approached like that.
