Meanwhile, Victor watched the shooting unfolding inside the fences in his rear view mirror. He had his foot on the pedal, ready to get out once he had Alex in the car. The guy would just have to hurry the fuck up.

Alex started running back towards the car after seeing the life leave the damned assistance's eyes. He really didn't like her. Sadly, he was good but not that good, they were under fire. It would be wise for them to quickly get out of there! Alex tried not to get shot preferably.

Victor tapped the steering wheel, noticing some of the people getting into cars parked behind the building.

"Come on you asshole," he muttered to himself in Russian, watching Alex. He was quite fast for someone as small as him, he'd give him that. Victor just hoped it would be fast enough to give them enough of a headstart to get up to speed.

Alex made it to the car, swinging the car door open, "Drive! Drive!"
A bullet lodged itself into the car door as another whirled past his head. He jumped in the car, wanting to be alive.

The door had barely shut behind Alex before Victor put his foot down, getting them out of there. His wheels spun somewhat at first in the gravel, but he got some grip after a moment and off they went. Following behind them were cars that definitely were faster than the one Victor was driving, but none of them had Victor's gravel road experience under their belt. Every turn was made in a controlled drift before getting the grip back and shooting down the straights.

"Just hold on, I'll lose these fuckers for ya," Victor muttered, feeling confident about his skills. Besides, he had no desire to lose his life over this.

"Sounds good," Alex took the time to reply as he began to reload his gun again, it was going to be like one of those movies where they were leaning out of the car to shoot people wasn't it? Most definitely. With that in mind he looked back behind the seat to see through the rear window, "If not I'll shoot them anyways."

"Go for the windscreens so they can't chase us," Victor suggested, keeping both hands on the wheel. They were approaching another turn. "Hold on tight and get ready to aim after this turn."

"Got it, " Alex began to roll down the window so he could lean out at some point and shoot. This was going to be interesting. All he could hope was that the police wouldn't get involved. That always got messy.

Victor kept his eyes on the road, not feeling safe with him hanging out the window like that. They did make the turn, though, and ended up down a straight stretch of love.
"Hit them now, turn in 7 seconds," he approximated from the length of road ahead of him and the speed they were going. The boy was rash in some situations, but he was no idiot.

Alex nodded, falling silent as he focused on his task at hand. He needed to focus to get the job done without any hitches. He took a calming breath to relax. Alex could do this, plus he thought that he liked them both alive. Maybe Victor and him had a rough start but he grew to appreciate the man.

"Bump," Victor called out to warn him a moment before they actually hit it, not wanting to swerve to avoid it and go off the road. He would deal with the damage to his car later. It wasn't a huge bump, but still had potential to mess up his bumper if he didn't hit it right. Thankfully, it didn't do any damage that made it more difficult to drive at the very least.

Alex moved slightly with the bump but stayed focused and somewhat steady, besides being lifted off his seat. He was just waiting to take them out. He saw someone else leaning out of their own car while they were in pursuit. Victor luckily managed to get them decently far apart.

"Three seconds to turn," Victor called out, changing the gear to get the controlled drift around the corner. They were closing in on where the road would become asphalt, which would definitely help their speed. The only issue was that they would also lose their advantage of his gravel road driving until he could weave on the highway.

"Three seconds until I shoot them," Alex mumbled under his breath, pretty sure they were going to get shot at around the time he shot. He just needed to be faster and have better aim. If the wind wasn't on his side though, he may not hit anything.

"I'll trust you on that," Victor said, entering the turn like he had called out before. He wasn't taking Alex' shooting into account while he drove, only interested in getting the fuck out of there.

Alex quickly shot as soon as they turned and fire was returned at them. He wasn't aiming at the people but the front windshield. Watching the other car swerve as their windshield shattered and the bullet most likely grazed someone. If it didn't the glass shattering surely did.

Victor caught a glimpse of it in the rear view mirror and smirked when he saw them head off the road.
"Nice shot," he complimented, reaching over to pat his arm once like he would do with his colleagues when they did good work on a job. "If you can get the other on the way up to the highway, we're getting out of here."

"Thanks, I can try," Alex would do his best to get the other. He was pretty sure he could but the dynamics and the wind movement was different in a car. Alex had to contend with that but he could factor that in.

The gravel turned to asphalt which allowed for higher speed both for them and the car following. Victor would be lying if he said he didn't think driving like this was fun. The highway ramp was coming up in the distance.

As soon as they were on the highway they were home free. Or so Alex thought, since it would be harder to do a pursuit on the highway with a broken windshield. Shooting the right person would be a lot harder too. Alex would have to get his shooting done before then.

"Ramp in ten seconds, Alex. You gotta hit it," Victor said, squeezing the last few horsepowers he could out of his car.

"I got this," Alex squinted slightly as he aimed, it was time to get this shot. Then they would be scotch free. He took the shot without hesitation.

"I know you do, Alex, I know you do," Victor agreed, holding on tightly on the steering wheel. "Four seconds."

"Four seconds, " Alex repeated, shooting again but the wind was not on his side. Maybe right when it hit zero he would get the best shot. For now though he would take a few more shots to get where his range was.

"Two seconds, left turn onto the ramp," Victor informed him, having to slow down slightly to get the turn on the asphalt.

"Okay, okay," Alex took a deep breath, he really needed to focus now or it would mess the rest of this up. He didn't want that, he rather not continue this any further.

"Turning," Victor called out as he turned the steering wheel, getting them onto the ramp. There was some traffic, but not enough to hinder him, thankfully. The sun was setting in the distance, and Victor felt confident. He could get them out of there.

Alex took one last shot, this time hitting the mark! He felt somewhat relieved with that, now all he needed to worry about was Brett and Eddy. He sunk back into the car rolling the window up to signal he was done. Also so he wouldn't get injured on the highway by leaning out a window.

"Good job. Let's head the fuck down to Gold Coast," Victor hummed, gradually getting them into the rhythm of the traffic as to not get attention from the police.
