Alex made sure to close the blinds before he shuffled over to the single bed. They had finished their pizza and drinks, so now they did what was only logical. They got ready for bed. For Alex that looked like stripping down to his underwear and keeping a thigh holster for a knife on. He wasn't going to close his eyes unarmed.

Victor had just thrown the pizza box away while Alex had undressed, definitely trying not to look. It wasn't like he wanted to look anyway, he was just polite. Yeah, definitely just polite. He turned around too soon, though, catching a glimpse of the guy in just his underwear and with the thigh holster. The feeling in the bottom of his stomach upon seeing what he was currently seeing was unfamiliar to Victor, and he only realized he had been looking for too long way too late.
"Sorry, thought you had gone into bed already," he mumbled, making himself busy by finding the sweatshorts he had brought for himself to sleep in. His face felt warm, which he didn't like. It felt weird.

"You don't need to apologize, I don't care if you look. Why should I?" Alex flopped on the bed, claiming his side. He rolled to his side to assure there was enough room. Him being smaller he didn't need as much so he stayed close to the edge.

"Dunno. I guess I'm just not used to sharing a room anymore, let alone a bed. I don't know what the rules are for that," Victor shrugged, pulling off his own shirt while talking, revealing a toned back with a few scars from old fights.

"I've shared a lot of spaces, with my boyfriend or with my enemies. The rules change depending on who you're lying with." Alex said simply with a shrug. He didn't know what to label Victor but he certainly wasn't Eddy. Although he wasn't quite an enemy either.

"Well, I hope I don't count as an enemy," Victor said softly, taking his pants off as well to change into the sweatshorts. He didn't want to consider the other label for himself. There was no way that would ever happen, and besides love didn't exist anyway. It was just dumb people overreacting to enjoying someone's company, he thought.

"For now you don't count as an enemy," There was always an opportunity that it could end that way. Alex was familiar with being betrayed. He didn't really trust anyone except Eddy. Even that took a while though since trust wasn't built in a day. It was worked for and nurtured.

"I appreciate that," Victor said, coming over and sitting down on the bed. He had completely stopped seeing Alex as a threat by now. If that was a smart decision, though, wasn't decided yet. "I'll do my best not to roll on you in my sleep, though, but I sleep very heavily, so just like push me off if I do."

"I will do that, " Alex hummed, hopefully the weight and pressure wouldn't trigger any killing instinct. How unfortunate would it be if he woke up to see a knife in someone's back. He didn't know how he would explain that to Brett or Eddy for that matter. Yeah, he would try avoiding that.

"Alright," Victor mumbled, carefully laying down as much to the side as the big man could on the single bed. He felt pretty sure already that his back wouldn't be too excited in the morning, but he'd deal with it.

"Yep, I'll make sure not to stab you or anything. " Alex hummed softly as he glanced over his shoulder to look back at Victor. They both made sure not to get into each other's space. He doubted that would last for long.

"That would be nice. It's such an inconvenience," Victor said with a small shrug. He had been stabbed before, and it did in fact hurt like hell.
"It would be," Especially since Alex only pulled a weapon to kill. Sometimes to just disable someone. Couldn't be a threat if they couldn't move. Mostly it was for murder though.

"I guess we should sleep, then," Victor said, followed by a yawn. "Not like there's much else to do for the days we're stuck here."

"Well then goodnight, we'll figure out something to do later I suppose," Alex closed his eyes, he would simply rest a bit. Only lightly though because he didn't trust that they were safe. How could he? They just shot up a bunch of people, broke Eddy out and then ran for it. Honestly he was worried for Eddy, worried about what they did to him. He wouldn't open up about his concerns though.

"Night. Hope you sleep well," Victor said, curling up and closing his eyes. It only took a minute or two before he was out, made evident by soft snores. Alex listened to him snore, slowly dozing off to the sound.
