Eddy stirred, he was so tired but he couldn't sleep. All he could do was toss and turn, the static was still in his head! He just wanted to pull his hair and scream. Seeing as he wasn't alone though, he couldn't just do that. It would be hella awkward for Brett.

The slight stirring was all that was needed for Brett to wake up from his light sleep. He bumped his forehead gently against the back of Eddy's neck.
"You awake?" he whispered softly, wanting Eddy to know he was awake in case he needed anything.
"I'm awake..." Eddy murmured as he felt Brett's forehead against his neck, it felt comforting to him. He felt something warm run through him, when he felt Brett close. Time not to think about that.

"How are you feeling?" Brett asked softly. He thought Eddy needed to rest, though, so he would encourage that as much as possible.
"Like shit," Eddy spoke softly, rubbing his eyes tiredly, "My body hurts, my brain hurts."
He just wanted to disappear. He wished the ground would just swallow him. That would be nice but the world didn't work like that.

"Would you like me to do something? Like get you pain medication or a better pillow or anything?" Brett asked softly, keeping his forehead resting against the back of Eddy's neck.

"No....I've been drugged once already today. I don't want to swallow any more pills." Eddy licked his lips nervously, "He forced me to take some..."
He hated that man, even at the thought his body began to tense. Began to tremble. He remembered as did his body. He would never forget but also wouldn't let that man live if he ever got the chance.

"I won't make you, but I think you would be more comfortable," Brett said softly, giving him a slight squeeze. He was careful not to squeeze too hard though, not wanting to hurt him. "It's your choice, though, I promise I won't make you do anything you don't want to."

"I don't want to take them," Eddy shook his head, he wasn't touching that stuff. Had been drugged too many times that day. Even Ray sedated him. Like he guessed Ray had too but still. Eddy wasn't pleased about having it happen so many times.

"You don't have to then," Brett assured softly. "No drugs if you don't want them, I promise."

"Thank you, Brett. I've been through too much today," Eddy sighed softly as he rubbed his face, he wasn't sure Brett wanted to hear about it. It was too late for that stuff. Or so he thought, even if he promised to tell him later.

"I know you have," Brett said softly, stroking his arm carefully. It was so difficult to push the guilt of it away, but he knew he had to. "Do you wanna talk about it?"

Eddy stayed silent for a moment before nodding a bit, "If you'll be okay with that."
He didn't want him to feel immensely bad about it. He knew Brett could, that was why he didn't say much at first.

"Of course," Brett said softly, though he wasn't too sure. He knew he could fake it until he got to be on his own, but after that? He didn't know, really.

"I don't know where to start," Eddy spoke quietly and nervously, his eyes closed as he let himself feel the moment. Let himself feel the fear he had in that moment, "It was in an alleyway, I heard someone following me so I slipped away and then I saw him."
Eddy guessed Brett had no clue who that man was. How could he know the monster that he was?

"Him?" Brett asked softly, still with his head resting lightly against the back of Eddy's neck. "Who?"

"He's one of the directors of the organization. He was the one who pulled me into it because I got involved with Alex..." Eddy's body trembled again as he bit his lip, "He is a vile man who doesn't care about anyone but himself. Holds no value for people they're just expendable or a toy to play with."
