It was the early morning by the time they actually finished shooting. Although they weren't exactly shooting anymore, it was more like Alex pointing out constellations to Victor both admiring the night sky. Shooting was hard in the dark although possible with someone who was trained in the shadow, no matter how cliche that was. Alex, however, found that he enjoyed laying in the grass and watching the stars. It was soft under his touch, he couldn't help but brush his fingers over it, "You know they say most stars are dead by the time we see them. Yet we still see the same constellations as the people of old. We all sit under the same sky, or at least mostly the same. It's kind of amazing and odd to think how small we are in this universe, so meaningless in the eyes of time. Almost comforting, you know? At least for me, because all my sins won't matter, they'll eventually cease to exist and people will keep living without ever knowing who I am, who I was. I'll just disappear, vanish into dust."

Victor took a moment to consider Alex's words, to really understand them. He could feel the heat from his body next to him, and found himself hoping Alex would never disappear, never turn into dust.

"The stars live for billions of years," he said softly, his eyes following a shooting star as it passed over the sky above them. "And still we are lucky to experience them in our lifetime."

He turned his head to look at Alex, feeling his heart jump. The large guy had never been a thoughts and feelings kind of guy, but he seemed to have a lot of them recently.

"I'll be sad when you're gone."

"Huh, why's that?" Alex tilted his head back to look at Victor dead in the eyes, or at least what he assumed were Victor's eyes in the darkness. He felt something he had only felt with one other person, his chest tightening ever so slightly as it felt like his heart skipped a beat. Honestly he would compare it to the sensation of nearing death.

"Well, cause... I like when you're around," Victor said softly. Being around Alex made him feel all sorts of things. Mainly happiness. Sometimes even giddiness which he honestly didn't think he could feel until he got to be close to Alex like this. He loved it, just laying like this with him. "I like having you here."

"Only one other person has said that to me," Alex spoke softly, "That's how I know you're being genuine."
Alex snorted, since people hardly liked being with him or would miss him. So either people lied or they were honest. Victor sounded genuine though, like Eddy had always sounded, which Alex now used as a measurement .

"I don't say things I don't mean," Victor said softly, trying to make out Alex's features in the dark. "I really would miss you."

"I can tell, you're typically a man of few words," Alex rolled to his stomach, before pushing himself back onto his legs to sit on his knees, "Why do you feel that way though?"
Alex also wasn't a man of words but actions, he kept his distance for now though.

Victor shrugged a bit.

"I don't really know. I haven't felt like this before," he admitted softly. "I uh... I guess it's because you make me feel happy."

He looked up at him, unsure of what kind of answer he wanted.

"Do you feel that way around Brett? Do you like him?" Alex leaned over Victor a bit, he was very straight forward in his approach. It was the only way Alex knew, to be straight forward and or blunt.

Victor could feel his heart rate go up, like it would when he was scared. Except he didn't feel scared. Excited, sure. Shy even. But not scared.

"I like him, obviously, but it's not the same," he admitted softly, a blush creeping over his cheeks. "He doesn't make me feel like you do."
