Silently Eddy had laid in Brett's embrace, simply gathering his feelings and strong emotions after waking up again. His body seemed to ease itself out of the shock and his brain out of the jumbled mess it had become. However, something still remained prevalent: Pain, a throbbing sensation ran through his whole arm. He had been sliced after all. Yet it wasn't the dull pains that came with being cut. It was more akin to that of something broken...His wrist. It felt tight and like it was where the throbbing was starting, "Brett?"

He asked quietly into the silence that surrounded them.

"Yeah?" Brett asked, followed by a suppressed yawn. He hadn't really slept all that much. His brain had been going around in circles about how he should have prevented all this from happening to Eddy. Everything had been so well, the plan had worked out, but because he hadn't been careful enough something bad had happened. "How are you feeling?"

"My wrist hurts really bad," Eddy tried not to whine about it because he was a grown man, but he wanted to whine about it. It hurt and he didn't like the pain. He didn't even know why it started throbbing all of the sudden. Although he supposed that maybe he just didn't notice it before because of everything else that had happened.

"Which one?" Brett asked, not feeling great about that. He sat up a bit so he could see over Eddy's shoulder. "The one Ray looked at?"

"The one Ray looked at," Eddy nodded, looking up at Brett. He wondered if they checked the circulation of it. He supposed they probably would have, but Eddy was still worried that maybe it would need to be amputated from not having circulation.

"May I see?" Brett asked softly, holding a hand out for Eddy to place his arm in. He would look to see if it was really bad. Not that he had a bunch of knowledge on it. He just needed to know what to tell Ray.

Eddy nodded a but as he lifted his arm to put it in Brett's hand, "Does it look bad?"
He looked at Brett as if he would know and would take care of it. Eddy trusted Brett, he trusted Brett as much as he could really.

Brett was a bit surprised at how warm Eddy's arm felt when he touched it.
"It doesn't look terrible, but it's quite warm," he said softly, studying it. Maybe a bit swollen as well, if he looked properly at it. "I think maybe it would be best to have Ray look at it. What do you think?"

Eddy nodded a bit, guessing it would be okay for Ray to check. He liked Ray, he was nice, "He can check, he'll probably know best."

It wasn't like either of them had medical experience when it came to breaks. Eddy knew how to do DIY medics because he didn't have much access to proper care in the organization.

"I'll call him," Brett said, carefully putting Eddy's arm down before reaching over to the nightstand for his phone. He didn't want to consider that Eddy's wrist could be permanently damaged at all. He absolutely refused to even think about it.

Eddy nodded a bit as he watched Brett, he was going to stay lying down until he was told to get up. He tried to relax so there wouldn't be too much tension in his body. Tension would only make his wrist worse. Eddy knew that at least.

Ray was downstairs, doing what he was actually paid to do, which was to guard. He was checking over the windows now, but had been outside checking the fences just a minute ago. When his phone vibrated in his pocket, though, he knew it had to be the boss. Who else would just randomly call him anyway?

"Hey, what's up?" he asked as he answered the call. He expected to be needed upstairs, so he was already moving in that direction.

"It's Brett. Mind coming upstairs for a sec?" Brett asked, looking over at Eddy while he spoke. He was worried, and maybe a bit scared of more things going wrong. "It's about Eddy..."
