Eddy squeezed Brett’s hand as he slowly guided him to the park, he knew a place that was fairly private but not too out in the wilderness. It was like a garden, as in the circular version of a glade. It would give them a good view of the stars, or so he hoped. Eddy grinned to himself as he spared a glance at Brett, “Maybe we should go on a real picnic sometime, if you like this spot.”
"Are you trying to say this isn't a real picnic?" Brett asked jokingly, squeezing his hand back. He could feel the butterflies in his stomach stretch their wings in a way they hadn't in a long time, and it felt good. Eddy was good, and it was amazing to get to spend time with him like this. "Nah, I'm just joking. I'd love that, the park is nice."
It wasn’t really the park itself that made it nice, though. Rather the man he was there with.“We have a bottle of wine and a blanket in that basket, not too picnicky,” Eddy teased as he walked, he felt delighted at the idea that they’d be able to do this again. He really loved spending time with the man, and treating him well, “I’d love to, too. Plus making picnic foods would be fun to do together.”
"You're right, it would be," Brett hummed softly, resting his head slightly against Eddy’s shoulder. "What kind of food would you want to make, then?"
“Well I’m not sure yet, maybe some finger sandwiches if we felt fancy,” Eddy chuckled warmly, “Oh and a carrot cake would be fun to bring, as long as it didn’t get squished.”
He guided Brett through the park to his “secret” spot."Oh I love carrot cake," Brett groaned a bit jokingly as he willingly followed Eddy. He gave his hand another squeeze. "I'd love to make carrot cake with you."
“I do too, it would be so good I think. I can already imagine us shredding carrots together,” Eddy snorted softly, “It would be one huge mess. Assuming some of our baking skills haven't gotten better.”
He walked between some brush to get where they were going."I swear, if you were a tight fitting t-shirt while shredding carrots, you can shred me afterwards," Brett chuckled softly as he followed Eddy through the bush. Eddy's "secret" spot sure was well hidden away, he thought.
“Sounds kinky,” Eddy chuckled warmly at that, “Maybe I should wear a tight white t-shirt then. Might get water on it.”
He wiggled his eyebrows as he teased the shorter man, he was a cute fellow. Carefully he opened the basket to pull out the blanket."Oh nooo, how will I survive?" Brett chuckled softly, watching him get the blanket out. "Speaking of, it's a really well hidden spot you have here."
“It is, it’s out of sight of prying eyes. Just you and me here,” Eddy unfolded the blanket then laid it out. Someone could roll a body up in that blanket, if need be. Eddy supposed there wasn’t too much need for that at the moment though.
"Could really do anything you want with me here, huh?" Brett said softly, a smile playing on his lips. He had only good things in mind with that statement. Very good things, in fact.
“I could,” Eddy purred, leaning down to press his lips to Brett’s. He kissed him ever so gently, but kept it brief. He pulled away in no time so he could finish setting up their little lying area.
Brett felt like jelly after Eddy kissed him, not really able to form a coherent thought. Being around him was intoxicating!
"Yeah you could," he exhaled, shaking his head a bit to pull himself back to reality.Eddy smiled gently at him as he set the basket down, Brett was too trusting of him. Too trusting when Eddy had done terrible things. Or maybe Brett was just that forgiving, something Eddy didn’t deserve. He appreciated it, really.
“Come, let’s sit,” He hummed lovingly.
