Alex stood with Victor's phone to his ear, listening to everything, "Hey, I understand. Take good care of him."

With that he hung up, setting the phone back on the table where it had been prior to him picking it up. Alex sighed to himself, of course, he understood but he still couldn't help but miss Eddy and now worry immensely about him.

Just then, Victor put the last plate back in its place in the cupboard and hung the rag he used to dry off his clean dishes on the oven door handle before coming back out to where Alex was sitting. They had just had breakfast, some eggs he had cooked up for them. He found he really enjoyed cooking for Alex, maybe especially so because he knew Alex wasn't the most trusting person in the world and probably wouldn't accept food from just anyone. It made him feel a bit special.
"What did Boss say?" he asked, sitting down by his coffee mug that had been intentionally left out from the pile of dishes as it was still in use.

"He said that for all of our safety that I shouldn't come to the mansion to visit and that Eddy won't be leaving the mansion until he's healed. Also somethin' about beta blockers. Which I don't know much about but it sounds bad," Alex wasn't one for pouting but he felt like pouting, "Which I understand but it also sucks."

"Yeah, that sucks," Victor said, not really getting the tone right as he said it, so it sounded off. He absolutely didn't mind spending a day with Alex, honestly. Alex was fun to hang out with, which he couldn't do over at the mansion, because Eddy was always at the mansion. "I'm sure boss would've wanted me to do some actual work as well, not just keep you company."

"He probably would have, you probably would do your work too since that's what you get paid for," Alex hummed, picking up on his tone, but didn't question it. He figured it was simply because Victor wasn't a native English speaker.

"I'd probably do my work even if I didn't get paid, honestly. But I guess he'd also pay me even if I didn't, so it goes both ways," Victor shrugged, sipping his coffee. "But I guess that means we've got the day."

"We do have a day to ourselves it seems. Want to take me up on that offer to learn how to shoot properly," Alex ran a hand through his hair, ruffling it all up.

Victor couldn't help the way his eyes immediately ran to see how Alex' hair moved when he ruffled it. It looked so soft.
"I uh, yeah, sure. Sounds fun," he said with a small smile. "I have my gun here, at least. Just not sure about the amount of ammunition."

"I have ammo in my stuff and some guns. If you need anything. I would like to see yours though," Alex hummed, he knew guns and violence well so it helped him take his mind off wanting to see Eddy.

"Sure. Want me to grab it, so you can see?" Victor asked, emptying his coffee mug. He figured he'd refill his coffee on the way back as well.

"Yes, please," Alex nodded with a hum, he wanted to see if it was difficult for Victor to handle or not.

Victor put his coffee mug down and got up, disappearing into his room for a few seconds. The sound of a drawer opening and closing was heard, and then he came back with a gun that looked like a toy gun compared to his relatively big hands.

"Here," he said, placing it on the table in front of Alex before grabbing his coffee mug and going to refill it with coffee.

"I think I found one of your problems," Alex looked at the gun, it was partially the gun itself. It was important to find a weapon that fit one's palm along with fingers. Especially since any weapon was supposed to feel like an extension of the body of the wielder.

"My gun sucks?" Victor guessed, coming back with his coffee and sitting down.

"Too small for your hands, this gun would fit mine but not yours," Alex thought it made sense if Brett bought it. Most people would feel the gun when they held it, think it felt nice then apply it to everyone else.

"Yeah, it is a bit small," Victor nodded with a small shrug. He placed his hand on the table so Alex could see the size of it. "I like it, though. Got memories and stuff with it."

"Well, it definitely isn't helping you much. It's not unusable though once you get the basics. Might be able to be a secondary gun that you have concealed for emergencies," Alex compared the size of the gun to his hand. Then looked at the finger grooves, those were probably uncomfortable.

"I guess I could check out a different gun from the storage at some point. It's what I got for the moment, though," Victor said, scratching his chin. It did seem it was time to shave again soon, honestly.

"I have some, that we can see if they fit your hand better," Alex had tiny hands too like Brett, so he wasn't sure if he had any that would be any better. He did have heavier guns though, which were better for beginners. The lighter the gun the more recoil it felt it had. Nice to carry not good for control when it came to the feeling.

"Sounds good to me," Victor said with a small smile. "Thank you."

"No problem," Alex got up, "Wanna come look with me?"

"Sure," Victor said, putting his coffee mug down once again and getting up as well! He followed Alex to the former exercise room, now Alex' bedroom, where Alex had his stuff.

Alex slipped into his makeshift room, looking for the box of all his handguns. It didn't take long since it was opened, he often messed with them when bored, "Let's get you a heavier one that's a bit bigger."

"Do you have that? Your hands are pretty small too," Victor asked, leaning on the doorframe as he watched him.

"I do have more heavy-duty guns, yeah, but I would say my hands are about Brett's size. So I can't really promise it will be a lot more comfortable or anything. Just less of that recoiling feel," Alex shuffled through the box carefully.

"I guess that makes sense. Brett has really small hands, honestly. I'm surprised he doesn't have to hold a beer glass with two hands," Victor snorted.

Alex listened, wondering if it was appropriate to ask Victor if he had any interesting feelings for Brett. If the man was asexual or aromantic then it could be rude. Alex was curious though, "They are tiny, they're very dainty."

"Yeah, kinda like yours. Except it seems yours are more... uh... worn," Victor said, not figuring out his English properly. Was 'worn' the right word for hands? Probably not.

Alex stretched his hands out a bit to showcase them, "They are, very calloused and rough from the years of dirty work I've done. You can feel if you want."

Victor couldn't help feeling shy. He normally wouldn't really touch people much. Still, he reached out and gently felt Alex' hand. It was tiny compared to his!

"Your hand is really small," he commented softly. "Like... just look."

He placed his own hand to compare to Alex', palm to palm.

"I think you're just secretly a descendent of a giant. So I'm not really small you're just really big," Alex snorted, he wasn't sure if it sounded like a proper joke or even slight teasing. He tried though, so hopefully, it came across as such.

"I guess I am quite big," Victor chuckled. "Could probably fit two of you within my mass, honestly."

"I imagine so," Alex nodded with a hum, slowly moving away to look for the right gun again, "I am very lightweight alas and short. So it might not be too hard to do that."

"Must be practical for sneaking around, though," Victor said, watching him. "I'm useless for sneaking."

"It is, and for crawling through vents or getting into tight places," Alex chuckled, his brain of course wasn't going down the gutter with tight places. Even if Eddy also had some tight places. Yep totally no dirty thoughts, "I'm sure you're useful as the strong man and intimidator though."

"You'd be right," Victor smiled, flexing his bicep jokingly. "Big and scary, you know."

"I can tell, can't you see it I'm trembling," Alex said flatly but there was a teasing tone underneath it since he was just joking. He smiled softly at him as he finally found a larger gun, "Here we are."

"That looks nice," Victor commented to the gun. Bigger, but not huge.

Alex handed it to him, "See how it feels in your hand. Maybe Brett can get you another gun that fits well. It might help having something to go off of."

Alex suggested softly, he thought it sounded like it wouldn't just be in Victor's interest but in Brett's best interest since he may need more protection than ever now.
