Alex got himself in more inconspicuous clothes, which wasn't that different from his usual attire. He had a black ball cap on to help cover his face then black jeans, a tee shirt and also some nice combat boots. He wanted to blend in with the shade of the fleeting daylight. Especially since he was wanted by the Organization and to go shooting required leaving the apartment.
The next of his worries was to find good ear protection and the mufflers he often put on his guns. To be a good assassin, he had to have sharp hearing. Without proper ear protection, the sound of a gun ringing could destroy that. Also he had Victor to think about, he was the man that supposedly protected Brett and Brett was protecting Eddy. So it was in his best interest to make sure Victor's hearing also wasn't damaged. Although he suspected they hadn't been using ear plugs that commonly when doing their job.

Victor wasn't as well prepared for this as Alex was. Sure, he had traded his nice jeans for some less nice jeans, and he had thrown on an old hoodie he had just so the last of the sun wouldn't burn his light skin. It'd only be light out for about an hour or so more anyway.
"So uh, I know a place we can go, unless you have somewhere..." he said as he stepped out of his bedroom, almost crashing into Alex looking... professional. He decided in his mind to not let that train of thought about Alex' looks go any further. Why would he be bothered to think about how Alex looked anyway? "It's not too far."

"We can go there, it's best for me not to go to locations that are habitual for me. They'll be looking," Alex hummed, thinking about it quite logically. He needed to make sure that he didn't go to the places he was used to, "On another note, do you have your own ear protection? That's an important part about handling guns."

"Oh uh, yeah, let me see if I can find my ear plugs," Victor stuttered, stepping past him out to the living room to open a drawer where he kept most of his clutter and stuff he normally didn't use. He felt all flustered, for some reason, which was stupid. He figured it was probably because he was about to be in a learning situation, which he didn't have a great relationship with. "Boss said something about the importance of it when he gave me my first gun, but I've honestly been really sloppy with it."

"Well I guess if you don't shoot that often then your hearing shouldn't be too damaged," Alex supposed scolding didn't do any good, the past couldn't be fixed. Habits could only be changed in the present, "Just be careful, yeah?"
He wanted to make sure that he could help with it now though.

"Found them," Victor hummed, pulling out a small box with ear plugs that had strings on them so he could let them hang around his neck when not in use. He brought the box back to the hallway where Alex still was. "These are alright, right?"

"Those are the right kind, they'll work well," Alex nodded, giving his approval with a hum. It was good that Brett had given Victor those earplugs, "You can put them in when we get to the shooting location."

"I kinda figured I wouldn't put them in right now, yeah," Victor half joked, shoving the box in his pocket. "Anything else, or are we good to head out? It'll be a five or ten ish minutes walk."

Alex snorted, a little smirk toying on his lips. He didn't smile that often but when he did, he either meant it or he was trying to look innocent and cute to kill someone. Victor was safe for now though, "I think we're good for now. I have the guns. Including the one that fits your hands better."
They were in his concealed holsters since having a gun was quite illegal in their area.

"Alright, let's head out, then," Victor said, leading the way out to the hallway and stepping into his trainers. Luckily, Australia was quite dry, even in the little forest-like area behind his apartment building. No proper hiking shoes needed.

Alex followed him, he already had his shoes on, even if he had some qualms about wearing shoes in one's house. He would clean if need be though. For now he simply stood by Victor, he was waiting patiently.
