Chapter 51: Broken hearts

   A week later abby woke up in carl's bed with willow sleeping next to her. With maggie staying at hilltop abby and willow have been staying with carl and them. Abby wanted to stay with carol but carol was still missing.

Abby yawned as she sat up and turned. Carl was no where in sight but willow was laying in his spot. Abby just smiled before heading to shower and change. She put on leggings, one of carl's big t shirts and her boots. Her hair sat in a side braid as it was still wet from her shower. Abby stared in the mirror and sighed. Today was the day negan was coming and she wasn't so excited. She put on all her gear before waking up willow.

"Shower and get dressed." Abby says as willow wakes up.

"Fine." She groans before heading to the shower. Abby heads to judiths room to get her changed before heading downstairs. Carl sat downstairs drinking some water in the kitchen.

"Look who's awake." Abby says as judith cuddles into her chest. Carl smiled and walked over to say hi.

"Good Morning." He says giving abby a kiss and kissing judiths head.

"Good Morning." Abby says with a smile putting judith in her chair so abby could give her some breakfast.

"Good you two are awake." Rick says walking down the stairs.

"Negans coming today." Abby asked grabbing some food. Rick nodded his head and kissed judiths head.

"I'm gonna go on watch. Wait for him to come." Rick tells them grabbing a granola bar from abby.

"Alright, we'll stay here. I don't want those men around judith or willow." Abby tells rick as willow comes running down the stairs.

"The men who killed abraham and glenn, they're coming here?" Willow asked sadly as she gets to the end of the stairs.

"Yeah, you're gonna stay with carl and abby. Follow their lead." Rick says pulling willow into a hug.

"Alright, I can do that." Willow says as they pull away.

"Good, behave." He tells them all before leaving the house. Abby sighs and gets breakfast for everyone.

"We're gonna be ok. If we have too we'll put judith and willow somewhere they can't find them." Carl tells her pulling her into a back hug.

"Alright." Abby says with a smile.

Carl kissed her cheek as she continued to make food. Around an hour later men had started to come in their house and start to take stuff. Abby sat on the floor in front of the fireplace with willow and judith. Carl was watching the men as they destroyed the house. Abby was playing cards with willow distracting her from the men.

"Ow." Abby hisses as a warm liquid leaked out her pants and onto the floor. Her eyes widened making willow look up from her cards.

"What?!" Willow asked putting the cards down.

"Nothing." Abby says looking down at the pile of liquid she was sitting on. Willows eyes widened as she saw the liquid.

"Your thing just broke!" Willow says quietly as pain started to fill abbys body.

"Water, my water just broke." Abby says trying not to scream in pain.

"Come on up! We gotta get you to the infirmary!" Willow says quickly putting all the cards away. Abby took deep breaths as the pain continued to get worse.

"Carl!" Willow yells up to him as she helped abby get up.

Carl came running down the stairs and his eyes widened as he saw abby standing up with liquid on the ground. They weren't supposed to come yet, they were only 8 months.
