I look at Erik and feel instant pity for what I'm about to do. I know this isn't the ideal time, but it might just be the best time. "Dare," Erik replies.
"I dare you to do the next 5 truths and dares."
"Yeah sure Four. You little bastard."
Breathe, say it, "The little bastard who beat you in initiation? The little bastard who only has four fears? THE LITTLE BASTARD WHO MAX WANTED TO BE A LEADER?!" Eriks eyes widen and he growls.
"How dare you four? Do you really think you could be a better leader then myself?"
"Yes actually. I wouldn't make any initiates hang over a railing. I would NEVER throw knives at someone's head!" I see everyone looking shocked and when I look at Tris she's....smiling.
"Erik," Max says his voice steady. "How dare you do that? And yes Four would be a better leader. He actually is going to be a leader. And YOU are going to be working in the piercing lounge for the rest of your life in Dauntless."
Everyone at the party cheers, but I just smirk.
