Taryn stayed the night in the healing room with Thorin to make sure he was okay. He was too weak to walk to his bed chambers. So he would be sleeping in the healing room. As an elf Taryn did not need sleep, so instead she found herself watching him sleep. She would also make sure he was comfortable and check on his wounds.
Taryn did not need sleep, but she did have to rest her mind every once in awhile. And she was unable to rest the day before due to the orc attack. It was late in the night when she found herself needing some rest.
She leaned back on her chair and slowly shut her eyes. She let her mind relax and fell into a sleep like state. If any non-elf saw her they would just think she was sleeping. But since she was an elf, she was just resting her mind really. She could be woken up easily and was still semi-conscious.

Thorin's POV:Thorin let out a slight groan as he woke in the middle of the night. His wounds were healed, but he was still a bit sore. As he turned his head he smiled as he saw Taryn asleep in the chair next to his bed. He thought of how beautiful and relaxed she looked as she was sleeping. He groaned again as he tried to sit up. The noise of discomfort he let out woke Taryn up.
She sat back up now fully awak, "are you okay?" She asked him. She didn't like seeing him in pain.
Thorin let out a long sigh, "I'm just sore and it hurts when move." He said to her.
"Just lay still," she said to him as she walked over to where healing items were.
Taryn was reading bottles and grabbed the one she needed. She then walked back over to Thorin.
"Here take a sip of this. It will help with the pain," she said to him as she helped him sit up a bit.
Taryn tipped the bottle back as Thorin tilt his head back and swallowed a sip. He then laid his head back down on the pillow.
"It should kick in soon and you should be back to your regular self in a couple of days," she said to him with a slight smile on her lips.
Thorin nodded his head at her as she placed the bottle back on the shelf.
"Now get some rest Thorin," she said to him as she back down on the chair next to the healing room's bed.
Thorin started to say something, but Taryn shh him. "No arguing with me. You need to rest for you can get your strength back and anyways it is still late." She said to him as she put a finger to his mouth motioning him not to say anything.
Thorin let out a sigh, but nodded his head. "Fine you win," he said to her.
Taryn just smirked at him, "good. I always win." She said which made Thorin chuckle.
Taryn smiled as she slowly leaned in and kissed Thorin's lips lightly. "Now get some sleep Thorin. That is an order," she said with a smile and kissed him again.
Thorin smirked at her and slowly kissed her back. But as soon as she started the kiss she broke it by pulling back. Taryn leaned back on her chair, "don't worry I won't go anywhere." She said to Thorin as she watched him slowly close his eyes.
Soon he was back asleep and Taryn just sat there watching him.

So sorry that this chapter is so short. I kind of got writers block and just wanted to get something up.
I'm kind of stuck on how to get from point A to B (I guess I can say). Which would be from the accident to her going home (Mirkwood) and to Smaug coming.
