After a couple of days of keeping "busy" in their room, both Taryn and Thorin were ready to rejoin the outside world. Taryn stood in front of her mirror as she got dressed in the morning three days after their wedding.

"I can't go out like this," she groaned out annoyed by her appearance.

Thorin chuckled as he wrapped his arms around Taryn's body from behind. "Why not azyûngal?" He asked his wife curiously.

"Because look at me," she answered back as she pointed to the red marks of love that are on her neck.

Thorin just smirked, he was obviously proud of his work. "Why? They just tell others that I have officially claimed you as mine." He proudly states.

Taryn lets out a frustrated sigh as she looked at his reflection in the mirror. "So does this," she said as she pointed to her wedding ring on her finger.

Thorin just chuckled at her answer and kissed her on her cheek.

The other dwarves cheer as they see Taryn and Thorin finally join them for breakfast for the first time in about three days. "You decided to finally join the world of the living," Dwalin said with a chuckle to Thorin and Thorin's wife.

Thorin just smirks as he wrapped a possessive and protective arm around his wife's waist and pulls her closer to him. If he was protective and possessive before, he was really protective and possessive now.

They make their way to the table where the dwarves, Bilbo, and Gandalf are eating breakfast. Taryn sits down next her nephews Fíli and Kíli and Thorin sits down on her other side. He wraps an arm around her waist and kisses her temple after sitting down.

"Aunt Taryn would you like some biscuits?" Kíli asked Taryn.

Taryn smiled at him and nodded her head. Taryn did not have much to eat for the past two days and was starving. "Thank you," she said as Kíli give her a couple of biscuits. She never knew that an elf could get so hungry.

Taryn eats her biscuits rather quickly which earns her snickering from her nephews.

"You must be hungry Auntie," Kíli said with a laugh.

Taryn narrowed her pale blue eyes at him as she gets what he was implying. Anyways the marks on her neck and being away from the company for two days implied what went on anyways.

Fíli laughs at his younger brother's comment as he handed Taryn another biscuit. "Thank you," Taryn mumbles out with her mouth half full.

Thorin gives his his nephews both glares. "Fíli, Kíli don't tease your aunt." He said to them in a serious tone.

Thorin kisses Taryn's forehead as he stands up from the table to talk with Balin. As he walks away Fíli takes his spot.

"So we were wondering when we are heading on the quest again?" Balin asked Thorin as he walked over to him.

Dwalin nods his head in agreement with his brother's question. "Aye, we must be leaving soon. Durin's Day will be upon us fast."

"We leave tomorrow morning at the break of day," Thorin said answering his friend's question.

"And is Taryn still coming with us?" Balin asked as he looked over at the short white blonde haired she-elf.

Thorin let out a sigh as he turned his head and looked at his wife. She was eating more breakfast and laughing at something Kíli had just said. Really he would rather her stay here in Rivendell where she would be safe. But he was sure Gandalf wouldn't like that since for some reason he wanted her to come along. And he was sure Taryn would not like that either.
