Taryn sat on the windowsill, staring at the Lonely Mountain from afar. She sighed as she ran her hand through her long loose white blonde hair. She had undid all of her braids, except for the two small and tight ones in the front of her hair that matched Thorin's. She tended to never undo those two braids. The night sky was coated in a dark hazy blue, with glittering stars shining brightly. Silver moonlight shined in through the window, making a beautiful shimming glow in the darkness. The window was open, causing a cold breeze to make its way into the room. Her white blonde hair blew in the cold breeze out to the side. Taryn looked up as her line of vision shifted from the mountain to the moon.

"calad itil," she said out loud in a whisper tone.
(Moon light in Sindarin).

She began rocking back and forth, as she wrapped her arms around her growing pregnant belly. That nightmare had brought out deep fears within her, and now she couldn't shake them. She didn't even notice that she had began to shake again. The tears welled up in her sparkling pale blue eyes, as she thought of Azog stabbing her through her belly.

Thorin groaned in his sleep, rolling over to find his wife's warm side of the bed empty. Opening his sapphire blue eyes he leaned up on his elbows, and looked over to see her sitting in the windowsill. The moonlight was shining down on Taryn, causing her to glow in a beautiful blue and silver shimmer. Her eyes glowed a shimmering bright blue in the moonlight.

Her long white blonde hair was loose, all braids (except for the front two which matched Thorin's) were undone and hanging down to her bottom. She wore a loose sapphire blue silk nightgown, it was long and stopped just above her feet. From the light of the moon and the shadows of the dark room, he could see the perfect outline of her pregnant belly.

"You are so beautiful Haban," he murmured to her.
(My gem in Khuzdûl).

Taryn gave a sad smile as she heard Thorin speak. She didn't feel very beautiful at the moment. She felt frightened from the terrible dream and a small amount of pain from the bruises Alfrid caused her.

"Why aren't you in bed Azyûngal?" Thorin asked Taryn curiously. He sighed as in light of the moon he could see tears rolling down her cheeks.

Taryn exhaled slowly through her nose, bringing her legs up to her pregnant belly and tilted her head to look at her husband. As she looked at Thorin a strand of her hair fell onto her face.

"I couldn't fall back to sleep," she explained as she wiped away the tears on her face. "I can't stop thinking about the nightmare I had."

Really she thought it was a vision of the future, not just a nightmare. She wondered how she was going to save herself, their child, Thorin, Fíli, and Kíli.

Thorin sighed, as he swung his legs over the edge of the bed and walked over to her. He wrapped his arms around her, pulling her up on her feet and into a loving embrace. He cupped her cheeks, looking down at her lovingly and wiped her tears away with his thumbs.

"It will all be okay Taryn," Thorin whispered to her as he tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.

Running his fingers through her long white blonde hair, he pressed her against the wall next to the window and crashed his lips on hers. Taryn kissed him back; her arms encircled around his neck, and she ran her fingers through his long raven hair. She softly groaned as she slid her hand's down Thorin's chest.

With a grin she tugged at the hem of his tunic. Thorin smirked against her lips before pulling away and helping Taryn take off his tunic. She grinned as she saw his muscular chest. In the moonlight she could see all of his chest perfectly, a dusting of black hairs, his scars from battle, and his teeth marks from the white Warg.
