Gandalf walked from the kitchen to the entry way and opens the door, and there stands Thorin. He enters Bag End.

"Gandalf. I thought you said this place would be easy to find. I lost my way, twice. Wouldn't have found it at all had it not been for that mark on the door." Thorin says to Gandalf, as he took off his dark blue cloak.

Taryn instantly recognized the deep voice talking to be Thorin's voice. She let out an almost silent gasp, she stood there in the other room. She is shocked to hear his voice, after not hearing it for so long. She sinks back into the corner of the dinning room and just listens to the conversation going on in the entry way.

"Mark? There's no mark on that door. It was painted a week ago!" Bilbo says getting angry.

"There is a mark; I put it there myself. Bilbo Baggins, allow me to introduce the leader of our company, Thorin Oakenshield." Gandalf says to Bilbo he introduces him to Thorin.

Taryn wonders where the Oakenshield part of his name came from.

"So, this is the Hobbit. Tell me, Mr. Baggins, have you done much fighting?" Thorin asks Bilbo.

"Pardon me?" Bilbo asks confused.

"Axe or sword? What's your weapon of choice?" Thorin asks.

"Well, I have some skill at Conkers, if you must know, but I fail to see why that's relevant." Bilbo says.

"Thought as much. He looks more like a grocer than a burglar." Thorin says making a joke about Bilbo.

The dwarves all laugh, and they walk back to the dining table.

"So Gandalf where is this guide you were going to bring along?" Thorin asks him. He wants to ask him the same type of questions that he asked Bilbo. Except he doesn't know the he is really a she and the one he is betrothed to.

"Well um the guide was in the dinning room," Gandalf chokes out.

Thorin walked from the entry to the dinning room. Taryn is standing in the shadows of the corner still. She let out a soft sigh as she sees his face for the first time in 171 years. 'Of course he was older now and aged. But he was just as handsome and his eyes were still as blue.' Taryn thought to herself.

"Please come out of the shadows," Gandalf calls out to Taryn.

Taryn practically held her breath as she walked out of the shadows of the corner into the light of the dinning room.

"Thorin let me introduce you to our guide. Táriel Calithiliel of Rivendell. I do believe you already know her, though you probably knew her as Taryn," Gandalf says to Thorin.

Thorin turned his head to see who the guide is that Gandalf had just introduced. He let out a soft gasp and his sapphire blue eyes widened, as his mouth dropped open a bit in a stunned manner. He is shocked to the core to hear her name and to see who was standing next to Gandalf. He thought she was dead; but there in front of him stood Taryn, his long lost betrothed love.
