Before Smaug woke up and noticed Taryn and Bilbo. Before Thorin hears Taryn's screams from waking the dragon:

Walking down the dark tunnel with Bilbo, Taryn took in a deep breath and slowly exhaled a soft sigh as she looked around a little bit. Right now she was just trying her best to stay calm, be quiet, and not freak out, but she couldn't believe her husband had made her go into the mountain with Bilbo where a fire breathing dragon was sleeping. Yes, she was highly trained in fighting and other useful skills and was an Elf who had powers, better senses, and was faster etc than the others, that was true.

But, she was a pregnant Elf; who had to put all of her strength and powers into her pregnancy for the developing baby, which meant she was much weaker than she normally was and she couldn't really use her powers right now. It meant that she wouldn't be able to help very much and this was just too dangerous for her to do.

Sure, she knew what the Arkenstone looked like and could help Bilbo, but it didn't matter right now. What if something bad happened to her or their unborn child? Thorin wouldn't be able to live with himself if something happened to her or their unborn child, she knew that.

Taryn didn't want to be doing this, but she couldn't say no with how Thorin was acting and the look he had given her. She knew that if Thorin was in his rightful mind he would not have forced her to go with Bilbo, but it was clear that dragon sickness had already began to take him over and her husband was slowly fading.

Right now she was just praying that everything would be okay and that somehow she'd be able to pull her husband out of this dragon sickness state. She was just wondering how was she supposed to save her husband, herself, their baby, and the others from not only this dragon but the prophecy as well. She was still fearing that the terrible dream she had while in Laketown wasn't actually a dream but a vision of the future. Of course she just couldn't let that come true and she just couldn't lose her husband or their child.

Taking in another deep breath she let go of Bilbo's little hand and wiped away the tears that were rolling down her creamy cheeks. As she looked around at the dark tunnel she sighed softly again. Although, she had not been inside this mountain in over a 170 years not much had changed about. She just hoped they could find the Arkenstone without much trouble, but that would be hard with a huge dragon.

As she quietly walks through a large doorway with Bilbo, Taryn felt like she was holding her breath as they enter a massive hall. Exhaling slowly she bit down on her bottom lip, as she looked around a bit. After 171 years she just couldn't believe she was back here. Bilbo who was also walking as quietly as he could looked around, as he walked close to Taryn.

"Hello?" Bilbo whispered out loud, but quietly.

Looking at Bilbo Taryn frowned, as she turned towards him more and let out a silent sigh. "What are you doing? Do you want to wake the dragon? Shh. Shh." She said quietly to him, as she leaned in close to him.

Bilbo quietly knocked on the wall beside him and Taryn shot him a glare, as the sound of him knocking intensified loudly. As it echoed they both jump and press themselves against the wall in shock. Rolling her pale blue eyes Taryn sighed softly, before she shook her head.

"Stop it." She whispered to him, as she kept the frown on her face.

Seeing no reaction to the noise Bilbo made when he knocked on the wall, the two of them walked out into the hall on an elevated walkway. As Taryn walked along side Bilbo she placed one of her hands on her baby bump and used her other hand to wrap her blue cloak around her body a little bit more.

"You're not at home. Not at home. Good. Good, good, good." Bilbo said quietly, as he looked around.

Shooting Bilbo another look she shook her head, before she brought her finger up to her mouth and made a 'be quiet' kind of face. She just thought that he was talking too much and being too loud, when there was a most likely sleeping dragon nearby.
