Some info on the time jump.
I plan on jumping right into Taryn's new life 171 years later in Rivendell. I plan on telling what she has been up to in the past 171 years in flashbacks and by having her tell stories to the dwarves, Bilbo, and Gandalf. I may also do some flashbacks and telling of stories of Thorin's past 171 years also.
I don't plan on for them to be back to being all lovey dovey once they both know the other is alive. There are going to be some issues and a lot of heated fights.
