The next day was the mission. I was so pissed off. My team mates were early, Kakashi wasn't coming. It was only us.
I focused on the path ahead of me and growled.
"Why did Tsunade have to pick me to come along? I don't want to go get Sasuke. He's left. I swore I'd never take him back." I said, I sighed deeply. I ran my hands through my black locks, my green orbs looking around at the scenery all around me.
Ishiko sighed. "We have to find him. You know that. I'm still injured from when he and I fought...so I'm not so happy to look for him right now." she muttered.
I growled and shook my head. "I'm different.....Because of him." I said, crossing my arms. My face held no emotion, yet my heart was spilling with it.
"This is pointless, he's not going to come back to Konoha, no matter what we say or do. The only way he would come back was if he was dead." Ishiko stated, she was right. She was exactly right. Sakura walked up to us and glared at us, irritated.
"Will you two shut up? We have to bring him back!" Sakura scoffed.
This set me off. I gave her the meanest glare I could muster.
"I DON'T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT HIM!" I shouted, grabbing her by the shirt. "You and him had nothing. I had something with him. He hurt me, and trust me, he'll hurt anyone." I said, I threw her back. She stumbled but regained her footing.
"Fubuki, calm down. He's close by." Ishiko stated, putting her tracker mask on. "Let me go first, you three stay here until I come back." she said, I nodded. I clenched my fists tight together, I closed my eyes and faced my head down wordlessly. I had so much pain. Finding Sasuke was reopening wounds that had been stitched back years ago. I didn't like this. If I could, I wouldn't have agreed to this.
I hid in the tree above and saw him.
He had an open white shirt, he had regular pants and a purple belt around his waist. He had some cloth around his waist, too. Sweat was on his chest and face from the hard training, his onyx eyes a hard glare on Kabuto. His black hair had grown out a little, the cockatoo part on the back gone. He had no leaf headband. He had matured greatly, he looked even more handsome than the day he had left.
I nearly kicked myself for my thoughts.
I focused on what he was doing. He was training with Orochimaru.
"Sasuke, lemme heal you." Kabuto said, Sasuke walked away from the sinister bastard known as Orochimaru and let Kabuto heal some of his wounds. I slipped out of the tree stealthily and walked over to Ishiko, who had just returned from her spot.
"Okay, we're going to sneak attack. Everyone's cool with that, right?" she asked, I nodded wordlessly. Sakura and Naruto took their positions, I focused my attention on Ishiko once more.
"Who do we attack first? Or, who gets who?" I asked, I wanted to get Sasuke.
"Naruto and Sakura get Kabuto, you get Orochimaru. I'm too weak for him. And I'll get Sasuke." Ishiko replied.
In an instant, Sakura and Naruto tackled Kabuto to the floor. The shocked Kabuto collapsed by their weight on top of him.
I punched Orochimaru across the face, then pinned him down. He laughed cruelly, looking up at me. I felt shivers on my spine from that look.
I heard a poof, and turned to see Kabuto had poofed away. The real one came out.
"I knew it." he stated, grinning. While I was distracted, Orochimaru threw me off of him, then grabbed me with my arms behind my back. I tried kicking, but the position I was in was hard to break from.
