I turned on the camera, stepping back and pressing the record button. I sat down on the carpet with Makoto in a little baby chair on the floor. I picked him up in my arms and looked at the camera.

“Say hi, Makoto!” I cried, Makoto looked at the camera in awe as the light on it shone. All of a sudden, Sasuke walked in the house and over to me. He sat down and held his arms out, I handed him Makoto. He cradled him preciously in his arms, his eyes gleaming with admiration.

“Ptttfffffaaaa!” Makoto cried, then looked at me. “Eh!” he started flapping his arms around.

“Is he supposed to be using his voice already?” Sasuke questioned, eyeing our child. I shrugged.

“He’s a smart baby.” Sasuke commented, kissing Makoto on the head. He was so nurturing.

Sasuke looked at the camera and smiled, waving. Makoto reached out and grabbed Sasuke’s nose. Sasuke’s eyes widened as he looked down at Makoto. Makoto started giggling, playing with his lips next.

I laughed as Makoto kept stretching Sasuke’s face.

“Be careful with daddy’s face, Makoto.” I cooed. Makoto kept on with it.

There was a knock at the door, I got up and opened it. Mikey and Sakura were there with beaming faces.

“Fubuki!” Mikey and Sakura exclaimed in unison, hugging me.

“Guess what?” Mikey questioned.

“No, shut up, let me say it. Not yet.” Sakura scolded, Mikey pouted.

“Alright then, “ I muttered. “Come in!” I smiled. They nodded and walked in, walking over to Sasuke, who was rocking Makoto back and forth.

Makoto reached out for me, I picked him up and held him close.

“Can I see him?” Sakura asked, I nodded and handed him to her. She smiled and looked at him.

“I’ll see one of these in eight months.” Sakura said, she annunciated. We all looked at her, except Mikey, who held a knowing grin.

“Surprise!” he lightly said.

“Oh my gosh, Sakura, congratulations!” I squealed, hugging her, being careful not to crush my child, who she still held. She smiled and thanked me while her and Mikey played with my baby, I looked over at Sasuke on the floor, watching his son in fascination. I walked over, sat next to him, and wrapped my arms around him.

“Isn’t he darling?” I gleamed.

“Of course. He’s our baby.” he replied, kissing me. “We make cute babies.” he laughed.

“Well, maybe, in a year or two, we could. . . . .Y’know, have another.” I suggested. “How many do you want?”

“Well, to restore the clan, we’ll need a lot....”

“How many are you talkin’?”

“Uhm....Six?”

Surprisingly, I didn’t reach out to kill him at the thought of my body being a wrecked baby machine.

I sighed deeply. “We’ll see.” I answered, he chuckled softly.

He pulled me so I was sitting on his lap, he wrapped his arms around me and held me close. He nuzzled his face in my hair, pulling me down so he could rest his head on mine.

“You have no stomach fat.”

“Gee, thanks for that...Compliment.”

“Well, usually girls get fat from babies.”

“And their husbands get picky with their weight.”

“I won’t.”

“Cause you know I’ll get fat.”

“No, because you’ll work it off since you are a ninja. And even if you do, you’ll always be my sexy wife.” he replied, his arms wrapping around me tighter. I closed my eyes and sighed, snuggling close.

“Who knew I would fall in love?” I paused. “I met the most perfect man I could ever meet.”

“And he is?”

“Sasuke Uchiha. You probably don’t know him, but he’s a thick skulled lunatic.” thick sarcasm dripped off my words.

“And I met Fubuki Mayuko. Once you get passed her bipolar attitude, you’ll see her beauty. Yet it’s hard not to see her beauty.”

“Man, you’re just Mr. Smooth, aren’t you?”

“I’ve changed, trust me.”

“Oh, I believe you.” I rolled my eyes.

Sakura walked over to me, putting Makoto in my arms. I held him close to me, a flash lightened the room. I looked up to see Sakura had taken the picture. She showed it to me, I smiled. It was a really great picture.

I got up, walked up to the camera, handing Makoto to Sasuke. I smiled.

“Perfect.” I mused, turning the camera off, and put it away.

My whole life, I never thought my life would go so smoothly. I never thought I’d find perfection. I never thought I’d find anyone who would help me get over my past, my insecurities, and my stubborn ways. I never thought I’d have a perfect child, with a perfect family, in the perfect house with the perfect friends.

Everything was going so smoothly.

Perfection is sweet, never think you’ll never get it.

~~~~The End........
Maybe.
