Shikamaru’s shadow possession jutsu came out, capturing Sasuke. I turned on my kooriamgan, I thought the jutsu in my head. It didn’t work. I had no chakra left.
Sasuke grinned mockingly at me, I ignored it.
‘Bikou, I have no chakra.’ I sighed.
“What? You got to have some!” he said, surprised.
‘Not enough.’ I growled mentally.
Shikamaru got an idea.
“Get that rope and tie it around Sasuke while I hold him, then tie the other side to Sakura. Sakura has strength to keep him from leaving, just lace the rope with an unbreakable jutsu.” Shikamaru said.
“Tch. That’ll do nothing.” Sasuke stated, rolling his eyes.
Hinata tied on the rope to both people. Shikamaru still held him in the jutsu until Bikou said so.
‘Bikou, make Sakura demonstrate her power so he doesn’t try to escape.’ I thought.
“What’s the magic word?” Bikou asked.
‘Now.’ I thought, then smiled. ‘Please.’
He chuckled, then told Sakura what I told him.
“Okay.” Sakura said, then grinned. She looked at Sasuke, I saw something in her eyes that I couldn’t place. “Sasuke, don’t try to escape.” she said, then paused to look at a tree. Without using much of an effort, she hit it. The tree let out a snap as it split apart, the tree falling back and collapsing on the ground. It made a loud THUD noise. Sasuke’s eyes widened slightly, he didn’t let emotion touch his features.
‘Typical.’ I thought. Bikou agreed on my thoughts, I could tell by the look he gave me.
“Okay Shikamaru, let go.” Bikou commanded. Shikamaru let go of his jutsu after Bikou put a jutsu on the rope.
“Fubuki.” I heard my name called, I turned to look at Mikey.
I gave him a questioning look.
He motioned over to Bikou, who was about to steal one of my kunai. My hand slapped his.
‘Ask first, mister.’ I scolded. He scowled.
“Hm, of course she didn’t notice that.” Sasuke muttered under his breath, but I heard it. Bikou sighed, aggravated, then sat up. His eyes widened, then looked over at me. He looked back at Sasuke.
“She’s not thinking good things about you.” Bikou said, wincing at my foul mouthed thoughts.
“Hm, who are you anyways? Her boyfriend?” Sasuke questioned. Bikou’s ear twitched in annoyance, I felt like I was going to start laughing.
‘Yes, I am dating my dog.’ I thought sarcastically.
Bikou started laughing, reading my thoughts.
“No, I can’t believe you can’t see the resemblance.” Bikou said, sarcastically. “Remember me? I’m Shadow. But my real name is Bikou. Nice to meet you, douche bag.” Bikou said, his words made me snicker. I held my throat right after.
Sakura groaned, then walked over to me.
“This probably won’t work, but I’ll try.” She said, then started healing my throat. Her eyes flickered. “Wait, it is working if I do this....” she murmured, then pulled away after a minute. “Healed.”
“Are you sur- oh I talked!” I laughed, then looked over at Sasuke. I squinted my eyes at him.
“Prick.” I scoffed. His eyes squinted as well, his mouth turning into a frown.
“Bitch.”
“Chicken shit.” I shot back, he got up and was just about to hit me. Bikou got in the way and grabbed his wrist roughly.
“Don’t even try.” Bikou snarled, his blue eyes angry. Sasuke looked at him for a second, then roughly yanked his arm back.
“Whatever.” he replied, he was still standing. I got up.
“Hey, Sasuke?” I asked.
“What?” he asked.
I smirked, grabbing his shoulders and kneeing him in his family jewels. His eyes widened, he collapsed on the floor.
“Aughh!” he screamed in annoyance.
I shook my head, my eyes rolling.
“There is something I’ve wanted to tell you since you left, but since you won’t even shut up, I won’t.” I said to Sasuke, who was curled up in a ball on the floor.
“I wouldn’t care anyways.” Sasuke said, cooly.
“You know what-“ Naruto cut me off.
“Wait until he’s not so angry. You beat him and took him away from training, he’s going to be mad right now.” Naruto said softly to me, I nodded. He smiled, then walked over to Hinata. I looked at Sasuke.
“When you’re ready, tell me.” I said calmly, my eyes were soft though. I didn’t want to be mean right now, I just couldn’t. I didn’t know what he went through when I was gone. He could have went through something really freaky, and that’s why he was different. I couldn’t blame him.
I walked over to the fire and sat down. I looked across from me and saw Bikou doing the same thing, his face was lit by the flower that flowed before us. Its warmth spread, my eyes closed as I felt the comfort of the fire.
My breathing slowed as my mind concentrated only on the fire’s warmth. It was magnificent in its own way, this fire. There were its bad sides and good sides.
Like people.
“Fubuki....” I heard the owner of the voice hesitate.
I turned to see the person who called me.
Sasuke.
