“It really is you...” Ishiko murmured, frowning. I took a step back, my expression hard.
“Why are you here? Why are you following us?” I snapped.
“I was sent to take out any Akatsuki members in sight. There have been reports of Akatsuki near here, and I was called...I didn’t know you were....” she then shook her head, putting on her mask. “Screw it. I have to kill you.”
“Ishiko, I don’t want to kill you.” I stated simply.
“You are a threat to the village. We told you that you couldn’t go back to the Akatsuki. Orders are orders.” Ishiko stated, I could sense the emotion in her voice: sadness, disbelief. She didn’t want to kill me, she was in shock that I was the one she ran into.
She put her hands together. I could tell by her action that she was thinking. She didn’t want to do this. But she knew there was no way past this.
“Goodnight.” I stated after a moment of silence. She looked up, I couldn’t see her face because of the mask, but I knew she was confused. I grabbed her by the neck, my hand gripping onto her arms from the front to hold her there. I stepped on her feet to prevent her from kicking me. I held where her pulse was, she writhed until finally, the pressure of my fingers on her neck knocked her out.
I learned that before all of this, I just never used it. I’m glad I knew it, the alternative was....Well, I didn’t want to think of it. I didn’t want to think of killing my once good friend.
I turned my back on her limp body, collapsed on the floor.
“Hidan, let’s go home. I want to be at the base before she awakens.” I said softly, he nodded and got up. “We have to hide our tracks.”
He sighed and rolled his eyes, but followed my orders. The way back to the base, we were careful not to step on anything that would give off our route, we also tuned down our chakra levels.
W got back to the base, Hidan was the first to walk in. “Fuck, that was tiring.” he muttered, walking to the couch. He sat down, leaning back. I went to the kitchen for food.
“Fubuki, are you okay? Hmm?” I heard, I knew it was Deidara. He was at the table.
“Peachy.” I answered, grabbing an apple.
“So, you killed him?” Deidara asked. Itachi walked in, seeing me alive. His expression went hard.
“You killed Sasuke?” he asked, the tone of his voice scared me.
“N-no.” I cursed at myself for stuttering.
He studied my face, realized I wasn’t lying, and left.
Maybe he wanted to kill Sasuke first, or maybe he really did love his younger brother. I bit my lip, then walked to my room. Deidara was only 17, but I was still the youngest in the Akatsuki at the moment. Itachi was 18, Hidan 19. Everyone else I didn’t know, but we were all fairly young.
I was too young for this.
I groaned and walked over to my bed, I collapsed on it.
What would happen to me?
...........................................................................................................................................
“Duck!” I snapped, Hidan ducked as soon as I screamed at him.
“Dammit, woman! Fuck off!” he muttered, I answered him with a glare. He moved out of the way of a kunai, losing his balance.
“What did I tell you?” I growled, jumping into a higher branch. I looked down at the enemies.
I remembered them, yet my personality had changed in the span of three years that went by. I was now nineteen. No longer a young, naive child.
“Naruto, you idiot!” Sakura snapped at the blonde haired ninja.
“Sorry!” Naruto said, but he didn’t sound sorry.
“Why hello.” I heard, Kakashi was right behind me. I smirked.
“Bye.” I taunted, back kicking. I kicked his stomach, causing him to collide with a tree. I knew it was a clone, but I acted as if I didn’t.
“Dokugiri!” I murmured, the air filled with a poison mist. I knew Hidan wouldn’t be hurt, since he was immortal. Well, it would sting, but not kill him.
“Cover your airways!” Kakashi warned, I smirked. I didn’t have to, I was the one controlling this jutsu.
“Amagumo!” I made another jutsu, a rain of spiders occurring. I didn’t like spiders, but these ones wouldn’t touch me. I heard screams coming from my ex comrades.
I felt someone grab me, looking to see Kakashi had a firm grip on me.
“Hidan!” I shouted, but Kakashi covered my mouth. I still kept at it. I bit Kakashi’s hand, making him draw back for a moment. “HIDAN! HELP!” I screamed, I heard him coming,
“Hold the fuck on, Fubuki!” Hidan shouted, annoyed yet determined to find me
Kakashi put a cloth over my mouth. I made the mistake of breathing in the chemicals, and collapsed.
I opened my eyes to see I was in a room filled with people of my younger days.
I instantly freaked out, grabbing the machines connected to me. I threw them to the wall, standing up in the bed. I pulled out all the wires, screaming out in anger.
“Why did you bring me back!? “ I screeched, slamming my fist into the wall.
“Fubuki!” Yuki called to me, I turned to look at her, a harsh glare replaced my once kind expression I had way back. She wasn’t used to it, and stumbled a little.
“Why am I here?!”
The doctors ran in and held me down, strapped me down actually. My breathing was harsh, I was looking around. I was pissed.
“Just listen!” Elretta snapped.
I shut up for a moment, the ninjas I graduated with were in the large room. Also, my siblings were. Even all of the Sensei’s, and Lady Tsunade.
What did they want with me?
