31: Akatsuki

For a whole week straight, I was silent. I didn’t talk to anyone. I had changed.
I walked deep inside the forest to trin. I didn’t want to be near anyone. I didn’t want anyone close to me. I hated everyone. I hated life.
But most of all, I hated myself.
I hated myself for being so naive.
“Is that the girl? Hmmm.” I looked up to see two figures, both in black cloaks with red clouds on them. One was a blonde, the other was a large, scary looking man.
“Fubuki Mayuko?” the scary one asked. I backed up.
“No, but I’ll go get her.” I stated nervously.
The blonde man snickered.
“Yes, it’s her.” he said.
The men walked closer, I took out my kunai and threw two kunai at them. I kept on hurling kunai at them.
“Deidara.” the scary one said.
“Yes.” Deidara said, something slithered around my waist. I looked down to see a clay caterpillar around me. I turned on my Kooriamgan.
“That won’t help.” Deidara added. The caterpillar exploded, I blacked out.
When I awoke, I was in a cloak.
“What the fuck!?” I screamed, seeing people above me.
Later on, I learned who they were.
The Akatsuki.
I learned all their names. Itachi Uchiha was in the Akatsuki. It scared me.
“Let’s see what you can do.” Deidara said, he snickered.
“If I win, you guys let me go.” I said.
The leader looked at me.
“If you win, you go. If Deidara wins, you have to stay for three years.” Pein commanded. I nodded.
“Okay.” I said, this time I would fight harder. “Kooriamgan!” I said, my eyes changed to my kekkei genkai.
Deidara smirked. He threw clay bombs at me, I dodged them and charged at him. I tried kicking him in the side, he punched me in the stomach. I gasped in pain, and stumbled backwards.
“Water bullet jutsu!” I said, water balls began coming out of my mouth and aimed for him. He dodged each one, one hit him in the chest. He grabbed his chest and winced, then a clay bag dropped to the floor. A replacement jutsu. I felt something behind me shove me down. I was on the floor, Deidara stepped on the back of my head and shoved my head into the dirt.
“I win.” he said, cockily. I moved my leg and knocked him off his other leg, he fell to the floor. I tackled him to the floor, spitting dirt in his face. He flinched, then his eyes held anger.
“Pain.” I growled. He grinned.
“Your genjutsu won’t work on me.” he said, using his other eye against it. He wasn’t affected. My genjtusu wasn’t strong enough against him.
“Water dragon jutsu!” I said, my jutsu got him. I collapsed to the floor, I was exhausted.
I felt something hit my side. I rolled onto my back, Deidara above me. He gave me a sinister glare.
He stepped on my chest and began applying pressure.
“Give up or I’ll crush your ribs.” he said.
I gasped.
“I GIVE UP!” I shouted, gasping in pain. He bent down and grabbed me by the neck. He held me up.
“Worthless. I wonder why Pein wants you to join.” he shook his head, he took out a kunai and ran it across my headband. Then threw me at a tree. I hit my head hard, I felt pain surround me. My vision became blurry, I let out a strangled yelp in pain. I grabbed my head and then blacked out again.
I woke up on the couch, I sat up and saw a short red head girl in the rom with me. I sat up. I felt fine.
Was that real?
I touched my headband and felt a scratch across the leaf sign.
My eyes widened. I got up, the red head girl let me. I walked into what I guessed was the main room.
“Itachi’s going to train you.” Pein said to me. I glared at him.
He slapped me across the face.
“Don’t glare at me, you’re supposed to look up to me.” he snapped, angrily. I kept quiet.
“Okay, Pein.” I said quietly.
He slapped me again.
“I have a title.” he growled.
“Okay, Leader-sama.” I said, I felt my cheek burning with pain.
Itachi walked up to me, I suddenly felt really small. He scared me, he killed his own clan.
What was he capable of doing? And what if he’s cruel to me.
I didn’t know whether or not to say hi to him, so I just nodded at him.
He looked at me for a moment, then walked out to the training ground.
I followed, ready for whatever he’d do.
I was scared.
