“Fubuki, behind you!” I heard Hidan sneer from three feet away, I ducked, the ends of my hair being sliced from the demon wind shuriken flying past my head. My hair had grown long, it was down to my butt now. I turned and glared at the man who had thrown it. I smirked.
“What perfect aim, I’m impressed.” I said, then turned to Hidan.
“He’s all yours, I know you’ve been dying to sacrifice.” I said to Hidan.
I’ve been in the Akatsuki for a year now, and I loved it. I had gained power, and I had grown as well.
Hidan grinned, drawing a circle of blood on the floor, then making a triangle inside it. It was the Jashinist symbol. He put the shaking man on the floor, and raised up his black, pointy weapon.
“It’s gonna hurt!” he said, in an almost mocking way. He stabbed the weapon clear through his chest, pain flashing through his expression for one second, then pure bliss. He grinned and pulled the weapon out. The man was in pain, on the floor. I looked away, and towards Kakuzu while Hidan finished up. I walked over and sat next to him.
“You’re different.” Kakuzu said, looking up at me.
“Hm?” I asked, looking up from staring at the dirty forest floor.
“You’re cruel. You’re mean. You’re quiet sometimes.” He pointed out. True, true, and partially true. I shrugged.
“I have changed. You should have seen me when I lived in Konohagakure.....” I said, I remembered exactly how I was. At first, distant. Then carefree, loving, nice. I had changed. I had changed a lot. I was also weaker then, but now I was powerful. More powerful than I ever dreamed.
I shrugged wordlessly, then saw someone appear out of no where.
He had grew hair and glasses, I recognized him instantly.
“Kabuto.” I glared at him, I had my suspicions about him since the Chunin exams, and when I found out who he was, I grew a grudge for him.
He looked at me hard for a moment, as if he couldn’t make out who I was. Then, his eyes flashed in recognition.
“Oh, Fubuki. My, have you changed.” he murmured, his eyes looking me up and down. My cloak was off, he was studying my figure. My eyes flashed. Guys would start staring at me now, my body had matured.
I put my cloak on and buttoned it up, so the pervert’s show was over.
“How’s Sasuke?” I asked, my voice a mocking sneer.
Kabuto snickered. “You still care for him, don’t you?” he teased.
My heart held nothing for him. “No.” I replied, he believed me.
“Hm, well, he’s stronger.” Kabuto replied, then in a flash, he was gone.
Damnit, I could have killed him.
“Sasuke?” Hidan questioned, he was done with his ritual. I shook my head in distaste, my expression was as if I just sucked on a lemon.
“Some worthless bastard.” I replied, then looked at Kakuzu.
“Are we done here?” I asked, my eyes scanning the forest for any trace of unfamiliar chakra. I could find none, I looked back at them.
“Yes. We can go back.” Kakuzu said, I nodded. We started walking, I heard a familiar howling.
“Shadow.” I said, in recognition. I saw the dog walk up to me.
His eyes were hard, his mouth grim. I still couldn’t believe he was a dog, he had very defined facial features.
“Akatsuki, huh?” he questioned, sitting. His eyes scanned my teammates curiously, his eyes turned mean. He then looked at me.
“Captured. But now, I like it.” I replied. He looked down. Then back up after a second.
“How would Granny Chinatsu take this?” he asked in a whisper. My eyes closed for a moment, he had pushed a very sensitive button.
“She would be happy that I had gotten stronger. In a year, I’m out.” I replied. He nodded, then walked up to my hand. His familiar soft fur brushed against my hand, his head nuzzling into it. I pet him back, and he disappeared into the forest.
I kept on walking.
“So, you talk to dogs or are you fucking nuts?” Hidan asked.
“He can communicate with me. I’m not nuts.” I replied, he nodded.
When we got back to the base, I thought about Granny Chinatsu. Would she be happy?
I walked into my room. I was in here rarely, since Leader-sama always had me on powerful missions. It sucked sometimes, but I had to deal with it. I walked into my bathroom and stepped in the shower, turning it on. I took off my bandages yesterday, I no longer feared the injury showing. I had some scars on my body from fighting so much lately, but they were fading. No one was able to touch me anymore. I had gotten quicker. I turned off my kooriamgan, I wanted to rest right now. I had no longer to be on alert. I let the water run down my back, the soothing feeling causing my eyes to flutter closed. I ran my hand through my jet black hair, feeling the water shortly take its course in my hair.
I washed myself, getting all the dirt and sweat from my mission off of me. My tense shoulders unwound at the feeling of the warmth.
I turned off the shower, then got out and dried my hair. I brushed it thoroughly, my mind caught on something else. I needed to change my outfit.
I opened my closet, which I hadn’t opened in a long time. Konan had went out and bought stuff for me with Leader-sama’s orders for my birthday, which I was surprised they even knew. And even celebrated. Apparently, they did it for the first time you were here. Unless they liked you, then they would give you things.
I put on a low v-neck grey shirt, and tight black pants, almost like spandex but much more cooler than that. It showed my curves, which made me a little hesitant on wearing it. I hated guys staring. It irritated me immensely.
I fished through my closet and changed my pants and shirt with a short dress, it ended at my upper thighs, but didn’t show anything since I wore ninja shorts under. It went into a vneck on top, I looked really good in it.
I then sat down and thought whether or not I should return to Konoha.
