67: Isas Hitoshi

My eyes grew wide, I shook in fear. This man....

This man had ruined my life. He had scarred my mind at such a young age, I had nightmares of him.

My body shook, I felt as if I was going to throw up.

“What’s your name?” I snapped. He laughed.

“Isas Hitoshi.” he said, then walked up to me. His lips went up to my ear. “I’ll see you very soon.” he whispered. I punched him in the stomach, he backed up and chuckled. “You’ll pay for that.” 

He disappeared in an instant.

I picked up Sasuke and started walking to the hospital, I felt light headed. Everything was spinning, I fell over. I tried getting up, but my head felt heavy.

I blacked out.

“Damn it, we have to save her!” I heard a feminine voice scream to another person.

“I’m trying, I’m trying!” the male voice growled back. “I’m no medical ninja, you’re better at this-“

“Well I’m injured!” the female voice snapped. These were the voices that belonged to the masked people. If I was quiet, I would find out their names.

“Dammit, Elretta!” the male voice growled.

“Daisuke, shut up and help our sister!” the woman screamed back.

Elretta.

Daisuke.

My siblings!

My eyes opened, I sat up. I started shaking, I looked at both of them.

“Y-you guys are....” I couldn’t finish my sentence. They were just frozen. At the same time, I took the things covering their face. It was my siblings.

“Fubuki, we couldn’t tell you because of that guy.” Elretta said, she grabbed my hand. “We’ve been watching you grow, and we think your powers overpass anyone from the Mayuko clan. You have no idea how powerful you really are.”

I frowned. “Elretta, Daisuke, you are both ANBU.” I stated. If ANBU captains thought I was stronger, they were sorely mistaken.

“Fubuki, you took down strong people.” Daisuke said, running his hand through his hair.

“So did you.” I replied grimly.

“You survived multiple stab wounds.” Elretta said, I shook my head.

“That has nothing to do with this.”

“Your will is strong.” Elretta replied, she got up. “The Uchiha is on the bed next to you, you can’t turn your head. It will hurt. Just know he is there.” she answered. “I hate Uchihas.” she snarled angrily.

“Why?” I asked, sighing.

Daisuke looked at me. “While we were in disguise, the eldest Uchiha sibling tried to kill us.” he explained.

“That’s just how he is.” I muttered.

Elretta looked at me and smiled.

“To change the subject, your beauty is how mother said it would turn out. The prettiest and strongest Mayuko.” she said, then looked out the window. She gave a small chuckle. “I did not believe her at first, I was a jealous little rascal. But I do now, I am not insulting my own looks when I tell you this, I hope you know.” she said, then looked at me.

“I don’t know if I can agree.” I sighed.

“Well, I can.” Daisuke said, then got up. “That is how Isas found you. Because you are known around the world.” he said, which shocked me. “Kiss ass, I mean Isas, didn’t have much trouble.”

I grinned at his comment, but it disappeared the moment it came. This was no laughing matter.

“I’ll protect myself. I am strong enough.” I said, then got up from the bed.

“Oh, so you were strong enough to save yourself after the Chunin exams? You were sly enough to tell poisonous berries from regular ones?” Elretta snapped.

“Look, I survived for this long by myself. I can’t be watched over like this.” I snapped right back. She had no right to suddenly be doing this.

“Fubuki, you are sixteen. Kids don’t go by themselves until their eighteen. Well, normal kids.” Elretta said, then sat down. “We want for your life to be as normal as possible.”

“It is normal.” I said, then grabbed my bag. “As a ninja. Nice to see you guys, see you around.” I said, then walked out. I went to Sasuke’s bed, wrote a note down and put it on the counter next to him.

I walked out of the hospital.

Oh, I’d train and get stronger. I’d stick it to them. They thought I couldn’t succeed, well they were wrong. I could do this. After all, I am a Mayuko.

I trained for two whole weeks, Sasuke didn’t get to leave from the hospital. Apparently, he was too hurt. I still visited him as much as I could.

I did get stronger, I got so strong it made me smug. Two small weeks and I had made such great progress.

My new goal?

To murder Isas Hitoshi.

Revenge was usually not my thing.

But right now, it was.
