My eyes widened. I couldn’t help myself and kissed back, my hands tangling in his hair.
“Does this mean we can go home?” Kakashi asked. I broke away from the kiss and smiled.
“Sure.” I agreed, then looked at Sasuke.
“Are we together now?” He asked.
“Only if you promise me one thing.” I answered.
He thought for a moment. “What would that be?”
“Don’t hurt me again.” I replied, softly.
This reminded me of my dream, even if it wasn’t exactly accurate.
“I think I could keep that promise.” Sasuke replied, kissing my cheek softly. I felt tears start to stream down my cheeks. I put my head against his chest. “I won’t hurt you.”
“Never again.” I whispered. “Its kind of hard to believe.”
“I’ll make you believe, then.” he replied, I held his hand. Wordlessly, we followed Kakashi, who was leading us back home.
“That was cheesy.” I replied, flashing him a grin. He chuckled, then wiped the tears from my face.
When we arrived home, I looked up at him.
“You are so lucky I won’t sabotage you.” I replied.
“How much have you changed?” he asked, tilting his head to the side.
“You’d be surprised.” I muttered.
He shook his head, then started leading me to my house. Funny he knew where it was.
“We’re going to hang out at your house.” he stated.
“If you think you’re getting some, you’re sorely mistaken.” I stated under my breath, but he heard it.
He snorted. “I’m not a little pig anymore.”
“Anymore?” I asked, eyebrow raised.
“You’d be surprised.”
“Gross!” I teased. “And I would have suspected your hormones would be even more raging.”
He shook his head wordlessly, I took out my key and opened the door. We walked in.
“Shit shit shit!” Bikou screamed from the kitchen, I smelt something burning. I shook off Sasuke’s hand for a moment and ran to the kitchen. Bikou was glaring at the oven. “Damn cookies.”he muttered.
I started chuckling, he looked over at me. He gave me an apologetic smile, then a slight laugh. Then, his eyes caught Sasuke.
Bikou took off his apron (which said “Kiss the Cook” with pink hearts on it, which Eiko had put in my house as a small gift) and oven mitts, crossing his arms. He glared at Sasuke.
“What is he doing here?” Bikou asked protectively.
“Well.....” I started, then I noticed Sasuke had a sour expression. This wasn’t good.
“I can be here if I want. This is Fubuki’s house, and I’m Fubuki’s boyfriend. I can be here if I want to, I don’t need some stupid mutt telling me what to do.” Sasuke stated, his attitude pissed Bikou off.
Bikou’s eye twitched.
“First of all, I am living in this house as well. Not you, stupid fuckin’ emo kid. I am much, much older than you so don’t think your gay ass shit will work with me. And second of all, I am not a dog. I am a human being, stupid.” Bikou growled.
“Really, you look like a mutt to me.” Sasuke said, cockily.
“Sasuke!” I snapped. Bikou took out the cookie pan and took a burnt cookie, throwing it at Sasuke. Sasuke dodged easily, Bikou kept on throwing the cookies.
I sweat dropped.
“Bikou, stop and clean up the cookies, apologize for being so rude when he came in. Sasuke, apologize and say you were an ass and you’re sorry.” I said, in a motherly way. I looked at the coal black ‘cookies’ on the ground. Then, looked over to where my bedroom was. “I’m going to go change.” I sighed, then walked in my room.
I dressed in a simple casual dress, which was rare. I hated wearing dresses. I walked down to see Sasuke and Bikou sitting down, making small talk. I stopped and hid, listening in.
“Sorry for being an ass.” Sasuke muttered.
“Sorry for being an ass as well. And throwing radioactive cookies at your head.” Bikou replied, the comment made Sasuke crack a smile, or in Sasuke’s case, a smirk.
“Fubuki let you live here?” Sasuke asked.
“Yeah, I mean she had extra bedrooms so she let me.” Bikou replied.
“You guys don’t have a thing, right?” Sasuke asked, cautiously.
“If we did, I would have strangled you when you walked in and shouted that she was mine.” Bikou shrugged. Sasuke let out a chuckle.
I walked down the stairs, Sasuke walked over to me and wrapped his arms around my slim waist.
“Hey.” I said, the tip of my nose touching his.
“Hn.” he replied, I rolled my eyes.
“Well ‘hn’ to you, too.” I rolled my eyes.
Bikou laughed from his seat, then got up and walked to his room.
“What does ‘hn’ mean?” I asked curiously. Sasuke thought for a moment. He smirked.
“I love you.”
“Oh, you’re such a ham!” I laughed, smacking him in the arm, then walking to the front door.
“Am not.”
“Are too.” I stuck my tongue out at him.
