20: Demon Tag Jutsu

When I woke up, someone’s arms were around my waist. I yawned, and looked up to see Sasuke’s sleeping face. He was holding me.
I smiled, he looked so young and peaceful how he slept. He started shifting, I leant back on him and closed my eyes, pretending to sleep. I wanted to know what he would do.
He shifted, his breathing changed. He was awake.
“Fubuki fell asleep on me.” Sasuke said, then he moved his arms. “Damn, I hope she didn’t notice my arms around her.” he muttered under his breath. I shifted, then got up. “Morning, sunshine.” I said, he smirked.
I shifted, my hip touching his pants. I gasped, my eyes widening. I moved away, I actually nearly fell off the bed.
“What was that?!” I asked, eyes wide. He looked away, I could see a light blush on his cheeks.
“It’s the morning.” he muttered. I wrinkled my nose.
“That’s-“
“How are you guys doing?” I heard, I turned to see Naruto running inside the room. He had a smile on his face.
“I hate you.” me and Sasuke said at the same time.
Naruto frowned. “You guys suck! Work out your differences already!” he said.
“Well Sasuke hurt my feelings.” I admitted.
“How?” Naruto asked, sitting next to me.
“He told me I was a pathetic girl and he didn’t want to be my friend.” I said.
“That sucks. Sasuke, you’re an ass. Fubuki, I feel for you.” Naruto said, then hugged me.
“You’re just saying that so she’ll forgive you for the prank.” Sasuke said, rolling his eyes.
“And?” Naruto asked, he grinned. I frowned and pushed him away. I looked over to Sasuke, then glared, I turned away.
“I’m sorry.” Sasuke said. My ears perked up. I turned to look at him.
“What?” I asked in disbelief. He was apologizing to me?
“I shouldn’t have been a jerk.” he said, then turned away. I sat up and grabbed his chin gently, turning him to look at me.
I turned on my Kooriamgan, reading his heart beat. Normal pace. Telling the truth. I turned it off.
“You’re being honest, or you can trick me easily.” I said.
He rolled his eyes. “Don’t make this moment bad.” he said. I smiled and hugged him.
“Now, I’ll unlock the hand cuffs if you two go to Ishiraku ramen together.” Naruto said. I glared at him. “What, just one date.”
“I’m not-“ I stopped. I sighed. “Fine.”
Naruto unlocked our handcuffs. I got up and looked over at Sasuke.
“Fully healed?” I asked. He nodded, then got up. I had secretly healed him with a secret jutsu during the night. I had only have my chakra left.
I brought him to Ishiraku Ramen after he changed his clothes, we sat down next to each other.
I ordered a regular ramen ,so did Sasuke. I looked at him.
“So.....” I said, waiting for him to say something.
“Hn.”
“That means?”
“Nothing.”
I sighed. “Well, lets make a conversation then. Did you pass the Chunin exams?” I asked.
“My round was interrupted.” Sasuke stated. I bit my lip and looked away. I left out me passing the exams.
“That sucks.” I said, then sighed. “Well, that girl I had to fight I ended up having to kill.” I said.
His eyes widened momentarily.
“Why?” he asked.
“She was a bad egg to begin with.” I said, then started eating. I covered my mouth to speak. “She nearly killed me.” I finished chewing.
“How?” he asked. He took a bite of ramen.
“She tried suffocating me with a flower. She stabbed me in the stomach several times. I killed her, then passed out. I woke up in a dark cave with two people. A woman with an ANBU outfit and a veil over her face, and a man with normal ninja clothes and a mask. I asked them who they were, they told me I wasn’t supposed to know or something. Then, they said ‘see you later’. What is that supposed to mean?” I took another bite after my explanation.
“Did you tell your brother they said they’d see you later?” Sasuke asked. I shook my head.
“Hell no.” I answered.
“Why didn’t you fight them?” he asked.
“They helped me out. I feel great, they restored my chakra and healed all my wounds.” I answered.
“Speaking of wounds, you should take that bandage around your arm.” Sasuke said.
“We went over this before. I don’t want to.” I snapped, then took another bite of noodles.
“It’s not that bad.” he said. “Do it.”
I hesitated, then took off the bandage. I put my hand over it.
“It makes it more noticeable if you do that.” Sasuke said. I moved my hand. “See, it looks fine.” Sasuke said. I smiled at him. He smiled back, which surprised me.
“Oh, Sasuke. What are you doing with her?” I heard, we turned to see Ino. She sneered the ‘her’ in her sentence. She looked at me as if I was a roach she wanted to step on.
I turned around and looked at Ino in the eyes.
“We’re hanging out. Now shoo.” I said, swatting my hand at her direction. Her eyes landed on my arm.
Her lips curled up at the sides slightly.
“Oh, that’s nice. Did you do that to yourself? No wonder you’re so bland. You’re emo!” Ino spat.
My body trembled.
“Ino, shut up. It’s not that.” I said, my voice a shaky whisper.
“It’s so gross, I mean it makes your ugly skin pop.” Ino said. I felt anger swirl in me.
My eyes changed to my kooriamgan, my voice changed.

Something odd came upon Fubuki, her chakra swirled around her. Sasueke’s eyes grew wide, he got off his chair and backed a step away.
“Fubuki, are you okay?”
Fubuki looked at him, she seemed like she wasn’t herself. She looked at Ino, then growled.
Ino was shaking, why was Fubuki acting so strangely? Had she really set her off that bad? Poked a really really bad button?
“DON’T YOU EVER TALK LIKE THAT AGAIN, YOU HEAR ME? I’LL MAKE YOU WISH YOU HAVE NEVER BEEN BORN.” Fubuki snapped, her voice wasn’t her own. It was sneering, eerie, it sounded like Fubuki talking and a demonic voice. It scared Sasuke and Ino.
“Get down!” Mikey shouted, Ino ducked, just dodging Fubuki’s flaring chakra. Mikey tackled his little sister on the floor, holding her down. He put his hand on her neck and took a tag off of her. “It’s a jutsu. This tag is the only thing holding it in her!” he said, the tag fell off, Fubuki changed back to normal.
She sat up after Mikey got off of her. She looked at her hands shakily.
“What’s wrong with me?” she whispered, she fled to the forest.
Sasuke knew what he had to do. He had to talk to her.
