I woke up to see candles all around the room. Curious, I sat up and looked around for Sasuke. He wasn’t there. I looked on the bed next to me, there was a rose. I smiled, roses being my favorite flower. I picked it up, careful not to prick my finger on the thorns. There was a little note on the rose, I curiously picked it off and opened it.

“Hey love, good morning. You must have been tired, sleeping from yesterday afternoon to now. Come downstairs, I made you some food, you must be hungry.”

I set down the note, tilting my head to the side in confusion. What was this? Sasuke was being all cute with me now.

I got up and walked down the stairs, I felt something smooth and soft beneath my feet. I looked down to see they were rose petals, formed in arrows for me to follow. I slowly followed them, they led to the backyard. I got to the back, I never usually went back here, but it was somewhat nice. But right now, it was breathtaking. There was a little glass table and little glass chairs for two, followed by breakfast plates. Sasuke was sitting on one side, he was dressed really nice. I walked over and sat on the other chair, smiling at him.

“What’s all this about?” I questioned, pausing to think of why he would be doing this.

“You’ll find out later, for now, just eat.” he answered, smiling. I smiled back, and dug in. I was extremely hungry.

“So I slept through dinner?” I questioned.

“Yeah, I didn’t want to wake you. I gave you more food than me right now though, so it makes up for dinner.” he answered, I nodded, the food was really good.

“Did you cook this?” I questioned, he nodded.

“Well, it’s really good.” I commented, then looked around. I heard footsteps, and turned to look behind me. Bikou was there with nice clothes on as well, he walked up to us.

“And how are you two doing?” he questioned, fancy like. I chuckled.

“We’re good.” I answered.

“Call me if you need anything.” Bikou replied, then walked away.

“He’s helping out.” Sasuke said.

“Oh okay, that answers my question.” I paused. “Wait, help with what?”

“Again, you will find out later.” he replied, I sighed.

I looked at him for a moment, then nodded and kept on eating.

When we were done, he got up and grabbed my hand. I looked at him funny, he got down on one knee. I looked at him funny again.

“Hummmm?” I questioned, he sighed softly.

“Fubuki Mayuko, I have loved you for so long, and I’m sorry I couldn’t make this romantic enough for you, I am not one who can easily express feelings....” he sighed, I realized exactly what he was doing, I felt my heart start to pound in my chest. “I love you, you’re the only one I want in my life. I have a very important question to ask you....Will you marry me?”

I was frozen, in complete and utter shock. He was asking for my hand in marriage, him, Sasuke Uchiha, asking me, Fubuki Mayuko....

“Yes!” I squealed, he hugged me and spun me around, I laughed, loving the fact that he was going to be mine forever now, till death to us part.

His lips collided with mine, we stopped spinning to share a hungry, romantic kiss. He was the first to pull away, taking a breath. He gave me his signature cocky grin, which I happily returned.

“I love you.” he said firmly, eyes searching mine. I smiled, sighing happily.

“And I love you, too.” I buried my head in his shoulder, his scent filling my nostrils, his soft, comforting body giving off a sense of safety to me.

“FINALLY, DUDE!” Eiko shouted, laughing merrily. She ran over, hugging me, I nearly fell over.

“Jeeze, Eiko! Cool it!” I scolded, yet I couldn’t help but laughing at her. She skipped around us in a circle, throwing flowers in the air.

“Hey, where did you get those?” Bikou asked, walking out and eyeing her. She stopped, pouted, then looked at the ground.

“Your yard.” she muttered. He was quiet for a moment.

“Oh well, I was gonna smash ‘em anyways, flowers aren’t my thing.” Bikou answered, shrugging.

“Hey, I like them.” Akemi replied, coming from behind him and slapping him in the arm. He winced, then looked at her with puppy dog eyes (HAHA, puppy dog eyes, I crack myself up! Get it? Get it?....Ah whatever, ima stop now. -.-‘).

“I’m sorry.” he muttered, she laughed, she leaned in so their foreheads were touching. Her silver hair flowed in the way, hiding their kiss. I looked back at Eiko, who was laughing and picking the flower petals off.

All of a sudden, Akemi gasped. My eyes widened, I turned around to look at her.

“What?” I questioned, walking over. She looked at me, then Bikou, then Sasuke, she gave everyone a glance. She grabbed me by the arm, grabbing Bikou as well. She pulled us inside the house, no one else bothered coming in after us, they knew to leave us be if Akemi only took them.

“Bikou, did you not sense it?” Akemi questioned, looking at him curiously.

“Sense what?” he asked, eyebrows knitting together in confusion. Akemi sighed, rolled her eyes, then brought him to the other side of the room.

They whispered things I couldn’t hear, occasionally looking back at me, and for some reason, studying me.

“What are you guys doing?” I finally asked, irritated.

Akemi and Bikou walked back over to me, they exchanged glances.

“Fubuki, you’re pregnant.” Akemi stated, they both had serious expressions. I could tell they weren’t joking.
