59: Ambush

He moved me aside a little, and took his backpack that was on the floor. Then, looked up at me. He smirked. “Baka.”

He walked away, my face was flushed.

My eye twitched in anger, I just huffed and kept on walking.

All of a sudden, a bunch of kunai came out of no where. I had stepped onto a trap. I backed up, my Kooriamgan turning on. I dodged each kunai that was shot at me, I backed up and looked around.

“Four ninjas around.” I hissed, pissed off. I hated being attacked. I could have died right there, I could be so careless sometimes. Damn it!

Sakura and Naruto took on two of them, Kakashi took on the main one. The other one I couldn’t find.

“Fubuki!” Sasuke shouted, I turned around to come face to face with the last ninja. Before I could move, his katana sliced my side.

I kicked him with the leg on the other side, he stumbled back. My wound was bad, but I tried ignoring it. I was feeling light headed, though.

I fell to the floor, I gasped.

Everything faded to black.

“Will she make it?” Sasuke snapped.

“Sasuke calm down, I am sure she will.” Sakura replied. “I healed her wound.”

“You’re sure!?” Sasuke snapped.

“Sasuke, don’t worry.” Naruto said. “She’s strong. She’ll come back.”

“Kakashi, why are you so silent?” Sasuke asked, worriedly.

“I’m thinking of how badly she was injured. That one slice probably sliced an organ.” Kakashi replied, grim.

“I told you, I checked that.” Sakura replied.

My eyes fluttered open. I tried sitting up, Sakura’s hand stopped me.

“No, don’t. You’ll hurt yourself again.” she warned.

I let out a cry in pain, as I moved to the side.

“What did she tell you?” Sasuke snapped.

“Why are you being so mean right now?” Sakura sighed, shaking her head.

Naruto was just giving Sasuke an annoyed look.

Sasuke was silent for a moment, then looked away.

“I thought she had died.” he replied, shaking his head.

His words hit me. Hard.

“And you would care if I had died?” I asked, shaking my head. I couldn’t believe him.

“Well yeah.” Sasuke said, glaring at me. He scoffed, then his eyes met mine. “You can’t possibly believe I loathe you.”

I gave him a look. “Yeah, I can. You’ve been a dick to me all this time!” I shouted.

“Fubuki....Don’t strain yourself. Stress is not good for you.” Kakashi warned.

I ignored his statement, so did Sasuke.

“It’s impossible to hate you!” Sasuke replied.

“You’re an ass! You don’t mean it.” I growled.

“What if I do? Huh? I’m being nice and all I get is your bitchiness!” he snapped.

“Now you know how I feel!”

“Sasuke....” Naruto said, warningly.

“Shut up!” Sasuke snapped at him.

“Don’t be a jerk!” I shouted at him.

He turned his attention to me. He glared.

“And now you know how it feels to get bitched at for no reason. Well actually no you don’t since I have a good damn reason!” I added.

“And what would that reason be?” He asked, sarcastically.

“You’re a dick. There, perfectly good reason.” I smirked, triumphantly.

He shook his head at my words.

“You’re blind.” he sighed.

“Stop telling me stuff like that! No I am not! I have a pretty good idea of how you think of me.” I replied, if I could move, I would have slapped him in the face by now. No, scratch that, I would kangaroo kick him in the chest into a large boulder, and aim for him to get a concussion. I would have smiled at the thought, but I was too pissed to.

“......Tch.” Sasuke replied, getting up from his sitting position.

“Can someone help me up?” I asked, exasperated.

Sakura nodded, being the one who knew about this kind of stuff. She helped me out without reopening my wound.

I was about to start walking when I felt someone grab my arm.

I was spun around, Sasuke’s arms were holding my upper arms. I could not break free from his strong grasp, our eyes were locked. I turned my head, but he shook me so I was looking at him.

“You realized you scared the crap outta me when I thought you died, right?” he asked, pressing his forehead against mine. Though I had a forehead protector on, I could feel his body heat.

I stayed quiet.

I was shocked when his lips pressed against mine.
