“Sasuke, there is a difference.” I stated calmly. “You went there because YOU wanted to. I was forced into the Akatsuki.” I let go of his hand.

“Well, I have something I want to do with my life.” he stated simply. I raised my eyebrow in disbelief.

“And you think I don’t?” I asked, appalled.

“Oh, so you do have a purpose? What would it be?” he asked, cooly. I started to breath shakily.

I was silent for a moment.

“I do have something to do. My purpose is to live. To help lives. Not kill someone. Well, it was. And he is dead. I’m fine. I have something to look forward after his death. You don’t. What is your purpose after Itachi’s death?” I asked, icily.

“To restore the clan.” he stated, he was acting like he was so cool, like he was so right. It made me mad.

“Well won’t that be hard to do without a girl?” I asked, I stood up and stormed out of the house. I ran to the first place I could think of” the training grounds.

I stepped in the area, the leaves under my feet crunching with each step. I walked up to the tree posts, and sat on top of the middle one. I put my head in my hands.

“Why?....” I muttered to myself, my fists clenched tighter.

“Oh, how sad.” I heard, there was a chuckling in the distance. I looked up, eyes wide. My eyes caught the orange hair and green eyes of the voice’s owner.

Isas.

I instantly hopped off the post, getting into a fighting position. “How the hell did you get here?!” I screamed in anger. He laughed, then walked up.

“Dearie, I never died. Your idiot siblings did not kill me properly.” he grinned, I noticed how ferocious his smile looked. I backed up.

Wrong move.

My foot stepped on something.

“Damn, that was my new shoe.” I realized it was him who I had stepped on, he punched me in the back, making me fly forward into his clone, the one who was talking to me previously. The clone grabbed my neck and attempted to slit my throat. Adrenaline pumped through my veins, I gasped in fear and pushed his arm away. His other hand grabbed my hair and took a fistful of it, shaking my head around.

“S-stop!” I cried out, earning a cruel laugh from him.

“How pathetic.” he laughed, then threw me like a useless doll. I hit something hard, falling onto the ground. I couldn’t move, whatever I hit had hit my spine. I was screwed.

“Damn...” I felt tears rim my eyes, I always got hurt. I was useless.

“Bye!” he chuckled, coming at me with a jutsu I couldn’t make out.

There was a blur of white and black, Sasuke stood in front and countered the jutsu with Chidorui. He was gripping his stomach in pain.

“S-Sasuke, no-“ I was cut off by Sasuke telling me he was okay, then holding Isas off. Isas found Sasuke’s weak spot, and hit him in the stomach.

Sasuke let out a scream, backing up. He fell, I caught him in my arms. It was hard to, because I could barely move. I held his hand, he was in agonizing pain.

“You’re done now.” isas chuckled, he walked around for a while. “Now, I can finally get your clan back for ruining my life.” he chuckled darkly.

Our clan had done something to him?

My thoughts were cut off, and replaced of my whole life.

I guess your life does flash before your eyes before you die.

He used the same unfamiliar justu as before.

“I’m sorry.” I whispered to Sasuke. He shook his head, I knew he was in denial that this was the end.

He tried to get off. “I’m sorry too, but I can...” he collapsed. He cursed to himself.

The jutsu was cut off, all I heard was a piercing sound, a woman’s screech, and Isas’s scream of confusion.

I looked up to see that someone had blocked the hit.

Sayomi.

Isas instantly pulled back in shock, without missing a heartbeat, Sayomi drew her hand back and released a different jutsu. Isas collapsed to the floor, I knew he was dead.

Sayomi turned to look at us, she was smiling softly. I could tell by her injury that she only had a couple minutes left.

I tried to get up and help her, but she motioned her hand to make me stop. I instantly did.

“I never told you what happened with me and my lover.” she said, then gasped in pain. She endured it, and decided to finish her words. “I loved him so much, but there were a bunch of rumors going out about him. I trusted their word over his, and killed him. Turns out, everyone was right. I vowed that if I did see true love, I would make sure those people would not be harmed if I could stop it. So, I held onto my promise to myself.” she chuckled a little, blood dripping from the corners of her mouth. Her eyes were dulling.

“Thank you.” was all I could get out, a tear sliding down my cheek. I would cry for her. She proved herself to me, she sacrificed her life to save me.

She collapsed on the floor, at the same time I blacked out.
