29: Sakura's Plea

The next day, Sasuke was acting funny. I was hanging out with Eiko, she could talk to me about it.
We were sitting in a café, it was quite pleasant. We ordered just a couple of waters and some small food, neither of us were that hungry.
“Something’s wrong with Sasuke.” I said. Eiko scoffed.
“You just figured that out?” she asked. I gave her a look. “Well, how’s he been lately?” she asked.
“Distant. Quiet.” I replied.
“He’s always been that way.”
“Not to me.”
“Well ask him what’s on his mind.” Eiko said, shrugging. I sighed.
“Okay. For now, want to train with me?” I asked. She shook her head.
“Too lazy.” she replied. “You’re lucky.”
“Why?” I asked.
“You have a boyfriend. I’m alone.” Eiko said. I shook my head.
“Find someone who likes you. I love Sasuke. He loves me.” I smiled, thinking about it.
“Are you a virgin?” she asked out of the blue.
“Yes.” I blurted out. She stared at me for a long moment.
“Gross, you lost it to Uchiha-“
“Shhh!!!” I said, waving my hands in the air frantically and covering her mouth. I looked around, then shot her a look. I let my hands off her mouth.
“How was it?” she asked, wiggling her eyebrows. I was silent. She laughed. “Fine, don’t answer. Hey, you want to go shopping?” I nodded.
We started walking throughout the town, until I saw a sign. I looked over at Eiko.
“I want to look at the houses.” I stated.
“Are you sure? You don’t have to pay for your apartment, a house you pay for.” Eiko said.
“I don’t think lone ninjas have to.” I frowned. She thought about it.
“You’re right.” she said. I looked at one of the houses. It was a really nice house. Four bedrooms. I looked at the man in front of it.
“Hey, when’s this house up for grabs?” I asked.
“Right now, actually. Do you have enough money for it?” he asked. I nodded.
“Okay, well this house is yours then. Move your stuff in whenever.” he said. I payed for the house. Weird. This was nifty.
“Can you help me move my stuff into here?” I asked Eiko. She grinned.
“Okay!” she said happily.
We moved my stuff from my apartment to my house, then we went furniture shopping. By the end of the day, we were exhausted. Eiko looked over at me.
“Where’d you get all that money from?” she asked.
“Mayuko clan.” I said, “we were rich.”
“Oh.” she said, then sighed, she looked around the house. “This place is huge.” she stated simply. “How many kids are you going to have?”
“That’s a question to ask me in like, at least eight or nine years.” I poked at her arm.
She poked me back. “Who are you marrying?”
“I don’t know. I don’t know if Sasuke and I are going to be together for really really long.”
“Do you want to?”
“Yes.”
“HOW CUTE!”
“Shut up.” I muttered, biting my lip.
“Ahahaha, okay.” she said, getting up. She looked at the clock I had set up.
“Time to go home?” I asked her. She nodded.
“Yep, see you tomorrow!” she said, then got up and left my house. I got up and looked outside. It looked like a perfect day for a walk.
I saw Sakura behind Sasuke.
“Sakura, it’s late. You should go home.” He said.
“Sasuke, that’s the only way to leave Konoha.” Sakura pointed out with a sad voice. “Stay, please.”
“I can’t get stronger if I stay.” Sasuke said.
“Remember what you said at me the first day we became a squad?”
“No.”
Sakura was taken back a little. “Well, you got mad at me.” she said, I couldn’t hear what else she was saying because I moved to get a better view. I saw Sasuke had a backpack on.
Well, maybe he wasn’t leaving. He didn’t say goodbye to me.
Sasuke started to walk away.
“Sasuke, please! I’m so in love with you. If you stay, I’ll help you with your revenge. Please stay here, with me!”
“You’re annoying.” Sasuke said. Sakura shook her head.
“If you go, I’ll scream and-“
Sasuke appeared behind Sakura.
“Sakura......”
Sakura only looked down.
“Thank you.”
Sakura’s eyes widened, Sasuke knocked her out. She collapsed to the floor. Sasuke picked her up and set her on the bench, then started walking away. I followed, until I realized he was leaving the village. I jumped out.
“Sasuke!” I called.
He turned to look at me.
