30: Goodbye

"Fubuki." he said, his eyes emotionless. He turned fully to face me. "Go home."

"Then you should, as well." I stated. My eyes locked with his.

"I'm leaving for revenge." Sasuke said.

"Why don't you stay?" I asked, then walked closer to him. "I'll help you."

"Remember what I said before the Chunin exams?" he asked.

I remembered what he said instantly.

"I'm not supposed to gain friends. I have one goal, and that's it. To kill Itachi. I don't have time to talk to a pathetic girl." he snapped at me, his face close to mine. My eyes glared into his.

"Are you saying you're using that stupid motto again?" I asked, crossing my arms.

"Fubuki, I don't love you. I don't want you." he said.

These words hit me hard.

"I don't want anything to do with you. I want power. Nothing else." Sasuke continued. He started walking away. I ran to him, grabbing him by the wrist. I spun him around to look at me.

"You can't lie about love, I saw it in your eyes. All that time we spent together....." I looked down.

"Well, why would I need a pathetic girl?"

"You're an asshole." I seethed. "You told me you wouldn't hurt me! You went back on your word." I said, my voice rising. His face stayed the same.

"I don't need to keep your promises." he said, then turned. He was just about out of the entrance gate to the village.

"If you go, I'm never ever taking you back." I shouted at him, I felt a tear make its way down my cheek.

He stopped for a moment.

"Bye, Fubuki." he said. He then disappeared outside the gates.

My heart shattered.

I walked home silently, when I got in the house, I collapsed on my bed.

I felt warmth, and opened my eyes to see the blanket fully on me.

"Sasuke, it's your blanket. You need it more than me." I said.

"No, you do. I'm not cold." Sasuke said. I put my head on his chest and cuddled close. He instantly froze up. I put the blanket on the both of us.

"Now we can share." I said. I sat up and looked at him, he looked at me curiously. I shook my head.

Lies. Cruel lies.

"There's only one girl I could imagine being with." he said. I felt a burning jealousy for whoever that girl was.

"Who's that?" I asked.

He slammed me onto a tree, his hands on each side of my face. My eyes widened.

"Who do you think, idiot?" he murmured, his lips colliding with mine. My eyes widened to the size of Sasuke's ego. Pretty big. After a moment, I kissed back. He pulled away, it was a small kiss. I could see his cheeks slightly pink. He turned away. I wrapped my arms around him.

Why did he do this to me?

"Can I train with you?" I asked, he turned to look at me. He smirked. His fan girls death glared at me.

"LEAVE HIM ALONE!"

"YEAH! HE'S MINE!"

"SKANK!"

I death glared at them, causing them to shut up. They wouldn't dare mess with me. I looked at Sasuke. He walked closer and whispered in my ear.

"Hey, beautiful."

I blushed. His fingers stroked my cheeks, his lips collided with mine. His finger traced circles on my shoulder softly, our eyes closed. His eyes wrapped around my waist, I ran my fingers along his chest.

The way he affected me, the way he could lie to me, I didn't suspect anything.

"Why are you so mad?" I asked, crossing my arms.

"You won't, because you don't trust me." Sasuke stated.

"No, I do!" I said, but did I?

"You think I'll hurt you. You know, I thought you were like me!" Sasuke shook his head then started walking away.

"Sasuke, wait!" I said, I ran up to him.

"What?" he asked.

"Fine!" I said, I did like him.

"Fine what?" Sasuke asked, curious.

"You can....Take me...." I said, I felt extremely awkward.

"Well, now I don't want to force you. I can wait."

"No..." I spoke, leaning in. "I want you."

I trusted him!

"No." I said, then I added something. "I love you."

"I love you too, baby." he said, pulling me close. I snuggled into his warm embrace. He was amazing once he had a chance to love.

"NO!" I shouted, I got up and threw the thing closest to me. It smashed against the wall, then crumpled to the wall. I grabbed my head, sobbing.

When I was done crying, I walked over and picked up the object I threw.

It was a picture frame. Inside, it was a picture of Sasuke and I.
