34: The Second Stage

"Rakurai no Jutsu!" (Lightning Bolt Skill Jutsu) I said, lightning shooting out of my palms and electrifying the ninja. He collapsed tp the floor. "Huh. That wasn't even a strong hit."
"Kill him." Kakuzu ordered. I didn't want to. I bit my lip. "Now!" he growled.
I put water around the victim and put my hands to the floor. "Tanbou Raikou." (Searching lightning) I whispered, electricity running through my hands and into the water, shocking the victim to death. It was either that or slit his throat. I didn't want to deal with blood right now.
I got up and we started walking again, until we found the grave we were looking for.
"Here we are." Kakuzu said, and used an Earth technique to lift up the earth above the grave. Then, he moved the dirt to the side. He opened the case and put the dead body on his back. It reeked.
I put my hand over my nose, Hidan gagged.
"Holy fucking Jashin." Hidan blurted, holding his nose as well.
'Spray that thing with febreeze!' I thought.
We started walking somewhere, then I couldn't handle the smell anymore.
"Can you put something that smells nice on it?" I asked, Kakuzu sighed.
"Get roses." he said, pointing to roses. I went over and picked them.
I put them on the body, it disgusted me. I didn't want to ask Hidan to do it or he'd get mad at me.
When I was done, the air smelled somewhat better, though the smell of rotting flesh still peirced my nostrils.
We got to the place Kakuzu had to go to, he walked inside the little house. I sat next to Hidan on the steps.
"I need to kill something." he muttered.
"Why are you the only one that is able to work with Kakuzu?" I asked, ignoring his last statement.
"Because he killed all his other teammates." Hidan explained. "I'm immortal. Stuff only hurts like fuck. But I love pain, so I get over pain and it turns to pleasure."
"What if he kills me?" I asked.
"You, he can't kill." Hidan explained.
"Why not?" I asked.
"You're strong." he replied.
"Not strong enough to overpower him." I said.
"This is the most you've talked." he commented.
"This is the longest you've lasted without cussing."
"Touche." Hidan replied, smirking. "And it's because Leader would get his panties in a fucking bunch if you were killed." Hidan replied, shrugging.
"Why am I so important?" I asked, shaking my head.
"You have your parents powers, and Granny Chinatsu's." Hidan replied.
"Granny Chinatsu didn't give me her own power, only my parent's." I explained. Hidan shook his head.
"No you fucking didn't, you got her damn power as well. It's a very strong power, she was a legendary ninja. You have her fucking strong will and her fast learning, also some other abilities." Hidan said.
These words struck me hard. I couldn't deny it, but ever since she gave me her power I seemed stronger. Without it, would I collapse? I closed my eyes and looked into my mind.
I walked around a dark room, it was lit up by a burning fire. I looked around and saw scrolls everywhere. All jutsu. I had a better memory once she gave me the power. I looked around and saw a scroll that fascinated me.
It was one about my parents.
I saw a picture of my father and mother in fighting stance, my mom had her bow and arrow pointed at an enemy ninja. My father had his kooriamgan on, he was focusing on another section. I smiled softly. I had my mother's looks, my dad's personality.
I opened my eyes and looked at Hidan. His eyes widened.
"What the fuck, you're eyes are weird." he stated, I took out a kunai and looked at it, I could see my reflection in it.
My icy blue kooriamgan had a silver outline, it was lighter around the dash too. My eyes widened. The second stage of the kooriamgan.
"How did that happen?" I murmured, then looked at Hidan. I could read his chakra. I looked at myself, I had a powerful chakra. I hadn't noticed that. I looked at my heart, which was beating slightly faster than usual. I had an adrenaline rush from this knowledge.
"I'm done." Kakuzu said, coming out of the building. I stood up and looked at him, he looked at my eyes. "When we're done with you, maybe I'll kill you for those valuable eyes." he murmured.
I glared at him.
He got angry, his hand shot out at me, it was connected by these string like things. His arm was all stitchy.
I dodged and surrounded myself with a force field, something Itachi showed me I could do. He didn't have the ability to do it, but he copied it then showed me how to master it. Kakuzu tried to get past it, but it didn't work.
"Damn it." he said, then calmed down. I released the force field. We started walking back to our base camp.
"See, I told you." hidan said to me, I bit my lip.
I looked at a scroll while we were walking, I had heard something about the kooriamgan's second stage in here. I looked through and saw what the kooriamgan's second stage was for.
It was for a stronger hold on your genjutsu, and the ability to copy ninjutsu. I grinned.
This'll be fun. I saw Hidan and Kakuzu come back.
"If we run, we'll make it back to the Akatsuki base by midnight." Kakuzu said, I stood up and nodded, my grin gone. It was replaced by a blank expression.
"You need fucking expression." hidan said.
Now that he said it, I didn't think about my expressions until he spoke. I shrugged.
"It might help with battle." I commented. He shrugged, then we ran back home, I was again used to go over the sea.
