“WHAT?!” Daisuke screamed, which was out of character. He was usually calm and cool about things.
I rubbed my temples, sighing. I sat on the couch, cross legged.
“This cannot be!” Elretta shouted, her hands resting on her head. She let out a sigh, her eyes closing.
“She doesn’t even look like us!” Mikey shouted, looking at Yuki.
“LOOK,” I snapped, everyone turned to look at me. “She can do the kooriamgan. No clan can copy that, we can’t even transfer it. We can only pass it on if we have parents from the clan. It is in our DNA.”
“Let us see it.” Elretta said, walking up to Yuki. Yuki looked at me, her eyes were a little frightened.
“No!” I said quickly. “She can’t do it well.”
“Why not?” Daisuke asked, he leant on the counter. “I learned when I was eleven.”
“Not everyone can learn that fast, Daisuke.” I stated, annoyed. “I learned it around her age, it’s fine. I’ll just have to teach her.”
“No, I’m fine.” Yuki said, then headed for the door. “I can’t depend on you guys. You are my family, but I’ve been alone all my life. I’m fine.”
“Wait.” Elretta said. She walked over to her. “You share our blood. We can’t let you go out there alone, you might die. If you die, we’re going to lose another one of our clan. And you are young, you should not be alone.” she put her hand on Yuki’s shoulder. “Daisuke and I watched Fubuki while she was growing, to make sure she didn’t get harmed. She could have died at your age, but we saved her. More than twice. It’s a hard life. Please, as your relative, stay.”
“Yeah, you’ll learn to love us.” Mkey said, he jumped over the couch to get to her. I shook my head at his childish actions, he skipped over to her. “I mean, even ask Fubuki. I’m awesome.”
“No, not really.” I said, shaking my head. Yuki laughed. Mikey pouted.
“I can teach you a thing or two.” Daisuke said, walking over.
“No.” Elretta stopped him. She looked at me. “Fubuki will, she is stronger than all of us.”
I raised my eyebrow. “Pfft. Yeah right, I’m not like a legendary sanin.” I said, then got up from the couch. “I myself screw up countless times.”
“But I like you better.” Yuki said, frowning. Mikey pretended to look offended, Yuki shot him a playful glare, then looked back at me. “You found me.”
I thought about it for a moment. “Okay, but you have to meet my squad and accompany us sometimes. I’ll push you to the limit, but it’s just because I want you to get stronger.”
“Hai!” she said, clapping. “Yay!”
I walked toward the door. “Follow me, we start now.”
“What!!!!” she sighed. My siblings could stay at my house or leave, I didn’t care. Right now I was focused on my sister, or cousin, whatever relation she was to me. I didn’t know yet.. “I don’t wanna!” she whined.
I shot her a glare. She stood up straighter, then ran so she was walking next to me.
“Too bad.” I said.
“Who are we meeting?” she asked. I didn’t reply, which annoyed her even more. I could tell.
When we arrived to the training grounds, Yuki mumbling behind me. I rolled my eyes.
“Fubuki!” I looked up to see Sasuke was two inches in front of me, he hugged me close and kissed me on the forehead. “Hey, are you okay?” he asked, his eyes showed concern.
Surprised, I blinked a couple of times.
He looked at Yuki, who was gawking at Sasuke.
“H-he’s your boyfriend?” she asked. I nodded, Sasuke looked at me again.
“Who is she?” he asked.
“FUBUKI!” I was attacked my a yellow/orange/black blur, which I realized ti be Naruto.
“Naruto!” I chuckled, slapping him on the arm. He grinned.
“I’m glad you’re back! Sasuke was a wreck wi-“ Sakura hit him on the back of the head, shooting him a glare.
Kakashi walked out, he put his book away. He was staring curiously at Yuki.
“Who is she?” Kakashi asked. I sighed and sat down on a boulder near me, I put my elbow on my knee, my chin on my hand. Sasuke rubbed my back comfortingly, why was he acting so loving? I wasn’t used to this kind of attention.
“Well....” I sighed. “She is from the Mayuko clan.”
Everyone’s expression changed, except for Yuki’s. Sasuke’s expression was the least to change, his eyes showed curiosity. Sakura was shocked, Naruto glanced over to Yuki in disbelief. Kakashi seemed the most surprised, his visible eye as big as the symbol on Sasuke’s previous blue shirt from when we were younger.
“That’s impossible. She looks nothing like a Mayuko.” Kakashi said, shaking his head.
“She is. She can do the kooriamgan, and no other clan can copy it. It’s something in our blood.” I said, I looked at Naruto.
“Hinata may be able to see the resemblance in blood and chakra, mind getting her? She might be able to figure out if she’s my sister or cousin.” I asked him.
Naruto blushed at the mention of Hinata’s name, then scurried to go get her. He knew where she was, we didn’t.
“Which clan are you from?” Yuki asked, curiously.
“Uchiha.” Sasuke answered emotionlessly. Yuki’s eyes showed sadness, she hugged him.
“I’m sorry.” he was ridged when she hugged him, I knew he was only used to me hugging him. And when I did, it took a second or two for him to get used to it. Surprisingly, he hugged her back.
The hug was broken when Naruto returned with Hinata, she explained Naruto had told her the situation. She turned on her byakugan and looked at me and Yuki.
She turned it off, then looked from me, then Yuki.
“You guys are.............”
I waited nervously for the last part of her response, she sighed. Then, she started answering.
