Chases POV:

Dear diary,
I've decided this will be the last time I spend time with Charli. Even though, we only met yesterday I don't think I can continue to be friends with her. I have 2 lives, a real one and one I've made up in my head. A fantasy. Charli is my fantasy.
And it's too complicated to mix the 2 of my lives because I can't live my reality in a Fantasy. Charli is everything to me. Everything. But I'm not everything to her, I'm not anything to her but her boyfriends friend. She's living her life and I can't get in the way of that, I have to accept my fate that I will never be anything to her. Her future doesn't involve me in it.

I heard a knock at the door and I looked at the time.

6 already?? It took 3 hours for me to get ready?! Wow.
Time flies.

I quickly went down stairs and opened the door

Justin: "let's go. We are picking up Charli at her house, you're date is at her house."

Really. He's making me go out with one of her friends? Awkward

I walked out of the house and closed the door behind me.
We walked to his car and got inside.

I got in the backseat and he was in the front driving.

Justin: "I'm excited"

Me too. I am basically going on a date with Charli

Chase: "why? Is it a good restaurant"

He laughed

Justin: "oh im not excited for this dinner im excited for after"

Oh.

Once we arrived at Charlis house he parked the car in front of her house

Justin: "be quiet when we get in because her mom doesn't like boys in the house"

I nodded

Justin: "like seriously, her mom is hard core. She finds you, consider yourself dead."

It's not like I'm the one dating her? If anything her moms gonna kill him.

Chase: "alright. Il be quiet. I get it."

I'm scared now.

We both got out of the car and walked up to her front door.

Justin: "her mom's boyfriend is cool though, he let me in last time"

I didn't know her parents were divorced

Chase: "does she have a dad?"

He shrugged

Justin: "she does, I saw him when we first started dating. I think her parents got a divorce or something. She said that. I guess he just left"

Her dad abandoned her?

Justin knocked on the door and who I'm guessing Charlis moms boyfriend answered

Bill: "hello young man my names bill"

He shook my hand

Chase: "my name is Chase, nice to meet you"
I smiled at him

He gave Justin a glare-
Guess he doesn't like him

Bill: "pleasure to meet you too, come in"

We both walked in

Bill: "Charli your boyfriend's here!"
He yelled for her
