              KEEP YOUR DISTANCE

Charlis POV:
shit shit shit shit. I was so concentrated on spending time with Chase that I actually forgot about my parents.

That's never happened.

And I forgot how far they'd go to make sure I'm not happy. My mom isn't here because she's worried about me, she's here because she wants to take away any happiness I have. And now she knows I have a boyfriend, she knows I have Chase. And now She'll do everything in her power to take him away from me

Charli: "I can explain."

Chase knows better than to introduce himself to my mom. Everyone knows better.

Miss Damelio: "ok. You can explain at home"
She smiled

Almost forgot about the act she puts on in front of other people.

I would fight her and tell her I'm not leaving, but I can't do that. Chases parents have done so much for me, they let me stay when I had no where else to go, they treated me like a daughter, and when i started "dating" Chase, they didn't approve of it. And I went against them anyways. And now my moms here, and I know she'll call the police if I don't leave. Then Chases parents will hate me even more.

Charli: "I have to go, il see you tomorrow first thing in the morning though"
I whispered so my mom couldn't hear

Chase nodded and I quickly kissed him

I don't care anymore. She already knows.

I stood up and got off the bed. I looked back at him and I quickly kissed him again

Charli: "I love you"

Sounds weird saying that so fast after  we met.

Chase: "I love you too"

He kissed me again and my mom had to yank me off of him

Miss Damelio: "Charli if you put your lips on that boy one more time I'm gonna-"

Finish that sentence. I dare you.

Miss Damelio: "ground you"

Code word for beat my ass

I smiled at chases as my mom pulled me out of the room

As soon as she got me out of the room she grabbed my arm tightly and pulled me down the stairs

Miss Damelio: "when we get home I swear to god Charli-grace, you will wish you were never born-"

Once we got down the stairs Chases parents were there-

Miss Damelio: "she won't be coming back"

Chases parents both smiled

Miss Hudson: "Charli, you're a great girl. Just not for our son. We'd appreciate if you stayed away from him"

Not happening. I'm so sorry.

Miss Damelio: "thank you. Something I agree with"

I rolled my eyes

Miss Damelio: "teenagers these days. Always thinking they're in love."

The parents laughed
