[A/N : I apologize for not updating all the time (also on how big this opening note turned out-lol, sorry). I've been busy with school, family, and of course, the recent happenings in One Direction/the fandom...#AlwaysInOurHeartsZaynMalik. I've been having the worse Niall writer's block ever, too, so if anyone knows how to overcome that in a snap, PLEASE MESSAGE OR COMMENT DOWN BELOW. Also, as usual, all the songs featured in the chapter will be listed at the end. I would have used more Union J songs, but sadly their music isn't available to buy in my country. I can't even listen to their songs that aren't singles on YouTube because of copyright & how it's unavailable on my country's grounds. But I'm hoping to buy the You Got It All album through eBay/Amazon. :) I'm hesitant on still doing character notes after the departure of Zayn, but I'm still going to do a Q&A at the end of the book with the characters, as promised!! You can begin asking questions if you want in the comments. And because it's the last one...you're free to ask whatever questions you like! With lots of love, xoxo -Kat :{)]

Chapter Seventy Six :

I took in slow breaths with my eyes squinted in an attempt to keep the rays of the sun away. I regretted not taking a pair of sunglasses out with me. I could probably go back inside the house and try to discreetly grab some, but there was no way I was entering back under the same roof as my mother.

"I knew I'd find you out here," Alexander's voice boomed from behind me.

I kept my mouth shut and my back turned to him.

The sound of the door shutting came to my ears, and I could hear his steps getting closer thanks to the flip flops he wore on his feet. He sat down next to me on the new addition of the backyard; a classic, wooden picnic table. Alexander leaned back.

Resting his elbows on the table, he turned to me. "Macy informed me on what went down when I showed Aunt Melinda to her room."

My mouth continued to stay shut.

"What's wrong, Aria?"

I bit the inside of my cheek, keeping my stare up at the clouds above me. I wish I was a cloud. Then I could slowly drift away from my problems and evaporate. Or rain on those who rain on me. Maybe even cast some lightening-wait, do clouds even cast lightening or is that something else?

"Fine. If you're not going to respond to me, then I'm not goint to keep trying to win your attention," Alexander said. He crossed his arms. "Starting now."

One...Two...Thre-

"Aria, please?"

I smirked.

"I didn't do anything to deserve this silent treatment from you. Mom is the one."

I stopped biting the inside of my cheek.

"I'll give you five bucks."

"Ten, and we'll make a deal," I turned to him.

"If that's what it takes...," Alexander pulled out his wallet.

I laughed. "I'm just joking."

Alexander closed his wallet. "Good, because I don't have any cash on me. Only my credit card, a coupon to Aeropostale, and some giftcards."

"A coupon to Aero?" I asked. "Why do you have a coupon to Aeropostale?"

"Because it looks cool!" Alexander opened his wallet back up. He took it out, and shoved it in my face. "The fake friendship the models have is goals! I've kept it to sample summer pictures with for my instagram and tumblr."

I pushed his hand away. "You have got to be kidding me."

Alexander stuffed the coupon back into his wallet. "Looks like you're not going to be my ice cream licking girl then."
