{A/N : I have never drank beer, wine, vodka, etc. ever in my life; hints why I'm 13 & not 21 (drinking age in U.S). I'm basing how I think alcohol tastes by how it smells to me, because I think beer smells horrible.}

Chapter Thirty Seven :

Laura's P.O.V

Music played loudly through the club. I sat in one of the stools by the bar. I studied my surroundings. People were on the dance floor, holding their drinks while moving to the song that was playing. Well, I shouldn't say dancing, because I'm ninety five percent sure most of the people were wasted and all they were doing was grinding each other.

I looked down at the glass I was holding. I only took one sip of alcohol since I arrived, and let me tell you; it tasted awful. I don't understand how people can drink this stuff and then request more.

Louis and Niall gave me some advice in the car, and then they disappeared when we arrived after Niall bought me a drink. That drink was the same one I was holding, and I've been here for about a half an hour. Three more hours to go...what fun.

I looked over at the guy sitting two seats away from me. He was doing something on his phone, the light from the screen was bright compared to the lighting the club offered. I noticed he had light brown hair. Or was it dirty blonde? I couldn't tell. And instead of having a drink in front of him, he had a Dasani water bottle. Seems like my type of guy.

I watched him turn his phone off and slip it into his pocket. He was wearing jeans. Dark blue jeans. The guy took the cap off the water bottle, and took a drink. I watched him twist it back on. That was when I noticed he had a tattoo on his wrist. His leather jacket revealed that when he was putting the cap on. Okay...so, maybe he isn't my type of guy. Maybe that was vodka in the bottle instead of water? Because vodka was clear like water, right?

I really need to study my alcohol.

The guy looked at me. I was about to look away, expecting him to give me a look because he caught me in the act of staring at him, but he stopped me from turning my head by giving me a smile. It was a warm, friendly smile.

I couldn't help but smile back.

The guy grabbed his Dasani water bottle, got off his stool, and walked up to me. He sat down in the chair next to me.

"Hey."

"Hi," I managed to say. I couldn't help but stare into his eyes. They were blue. I had to snap myself out of it, because here I was, sitting in front of a really cute guy and was about to begin drooling over him.

"Aren't you Laura Daniels?" his voice made him even more attractive. And the fact that he said my name made my heart melt. I nodded. "I love your music."

Here comes the part where my cheeks turn red like a tomato.

"Thank you," I said. "I, um, just got back from tour with One Direction."

"I know. I watched that interview you had with them."

"Really?"

"Yeah. My little sister loves you. You're her idol."

"Seriously?" I've been told at album signings and meet and greets that j was someone's idol, but hearing that the hottest guy on Earth had a little sister who looks up to me made me feel special. For a second there I thought my heart stopped beating.

"Yep," he nodded. "I've been to one of your concerts."

"You have?"

"Yeah. Two, actually."
