Bobby: Mini yaar doctor ne kaha na ki Neil ko homely environment chahiye, aur ghar jaisa to ghar hi hota hai na

Mini: Ha.. par usko ghar chahiye, isiliye mai usko patiala nahi le jaa rahi..

Dadu: Mini...

Mini: Vo kya hai na Bobby, kabhi kabhi na, ghar jaisa lagne ke liye ghar se dur jaana padta hai.. Doctor aap bataiye discharge kab tak ho sakta hai???

Doc: Ahm.. 3 din me discharge ho jayega

Mini: okay.. Meera, tu jaa ek baar Neil se mil le.. mai aati hu

Meera nodded. She knew why Mini said all that.. Though it hurt everyone there, she knew it was right for Neil because somewhere, everyone's accusations were haunting him. Mini walked out from there.

Dadu: Hum maante Jo hua galat hua par aise ghar se dur jaana...

Meera: Dadu, Mini bas Neil ki chinta kar rahi hai, aur iss time pe Neil ko iss change ki zarurat hai

Biji: Par hum bhi to unn dono ki chinta kar rahe hai na.. Aise kaise achanak se vo dono kahi bahar jayenge??

Bobby: Biji, Neil Mini ke sath Bangalore me bhi raha hai.. Aur ab unn dono ki shadi bhi ho chuki hai.. To kya shadi ke baad Neil ya Mini badal gaye hai?? Nahi na??

Preet was eerily silent.

Naeem Bi: Par Arya...

Meera: Mini chahe apne baare me soche na soche, Arya ke baare me sochti hai (looking at all) Aur Neil bhi!!

Dadu: Magar...

Preet: Meera sahi keh rahi hai Dadu.. Hume Neil ki iss halat me Mini ko force nahi karna chahiye..

She said and walked out from there silently. Meera eyed Bobby and he went behind Preet. Meera went to Neil's ward and saw him staring at the wall. His eyes moved to Meera and he smiled slightly at her. She sat next to his bed.

Meera: Kaisa hai tu??

Neil: Mai bilkul perfect

He tried to move a bit but hissed in pain

Meera: Hil mat!! Abhi thik nahi hua hai par tujhe to circus karna hai na!!

Neil: Yaar jabse utha hu koi na koi aake chilla ke jaa raha hai.. hadd hai!!

She noticed him trying his best to crack jokes and be normal, though his hands fiddling with his other hand fingers reveal everything. Just then Mini opened the ward door. His eyes lit up like a child when he saw her at the door.

Mini: Neil.. ab kaisa lag raha hai??

She asked walking inside

Meera: Uhm... Mujhe ab chalna chahiye..

She giggled at them who didn't expect this, and walked out.

Neil: Mini.. I'm sorry...

Mini: Shhh... Rest..

Neil: Nahi Sona hai yaar mujhe

He sulked just to get a glare from mini.

Mini: Neilll

Neil: 😶😒

They heard the door opening, and Arya ran inside. Mini panicked, she saw Neil whose expressions changed. Before she could stop Arya, she ran to Neil and hugged him, without hurting him. Mini shut her eyes and opened it, and to her suprise, he responded to the hug. She sighed in relief

Arya: Neil.. tum thik ho na

Neil: Yes choti madam!! Bilkul perfect!!

Arya: Him sab bohot darr gaye the.. par ab tum thik ho, to mai bohoottt khush hu

Neil smiled at her, and Mini realised how little it took for a 5 year old to bring a smile on his face. All it took was words, which brought him peace, and assurance that he mattered. A lot.

Mini: Chutanki.. ab chalo, Neil ko rest karne do..

Both of them whined and she sighed at both the kids in front of her. She sent Arya outside, and made Neil sleep properly. She was about to leave when...
He held her little finger, she turned back to see him looking at her with teary eyes. She wiped his tears and nodded in no.

Neil: Don't go.. Please..

His eyes were like that of a broken child. She sat next to him, and he clutched her hand tight, like someone would in fear. She wiped away her tears before he could notice. She came out after he slept.

Meera: Mini.. vo thik hai??

Mini: Thik rehne ki koshish kar raha hai yaar

Meera: Maine bhi dekha.. kab tak aise chalta rahega yaar??

They hugged each other and cried their heart out. Mini broke the hug.

Meera: Mini vo.. tu patiala nahi jaana chahti.. to phir??

Mini: inn saare yaado se dur le jaungi yaar usko.. Bangalore!!

Meera: Bangalore?? Par vaha kaise...

Mini: Sab arrange ho jayega.. Aur doctor ne bola tha ki uska khush rehna zaruri hai.. To jab mujhe lagega ki vo kaam kar sakta hai, mai usse restaurant le jaungi.. Ek vohi to jagah hai jaha vo sab kuch bhulke khush reh sakta hai..

Bobby came there

Bobby: Mini.. discharge to 3 din baad hoga na... To uske baad...

Meera: Bangalore!!

Bobby: Thik hai.. vaha sab arrange ho jayega.. doctor se leke....

Mini: Nahi Bobby.. Doctor nahi.. vo mai khud dekh lungi.. tu bas vaha ke restaurant aur humare caretaker ko contact kar de

She kept her hand on Mini's shoulder, and Mini sighed. Dadu and Biji along with Naeem Bi came there

Dadu: Mini.. beta humari baat to sun

Mini: Kya sunu mai??

Her voice was calm, but emotionless..

Biji: Ek baar aur soch le Mini

Mini: Mai bohot soch samajh ke hi decisions leti hu.. Aur ye bhi liya hai

Dadu: ghar se dur jaake kya milega tujhe mini??

Mini: Doctor ne kaha hai ki Neil ko unn sabhi jagah, unn sabhi yaado se dur rakhna chahiye, jo usko vo incident ki yaad dilaye..

Naeem Bi: Aree par mini, usko patiala se dur le jaake kya faida??

Mini: Dadiamma, mai ye bolna nahi chahti thi par... (sighs) aap sabhi ke taane, accusations, mistrust.. ye sab bhi Neil ke panic attacks ke reason hai..

Everyone stood dumbfounded, she lost her patience.
