(Melodee's POV)
I was beginning to worry about Flo and Monah. They had all been gone too long. And none of them were answering their phones. I called JJ's phone, hoping the runaway would answer.
"Hm?" The video chat was opened by a blue-haired boy that wasn't the one I'd called, "Mel..."
"David? What's going on?! Where are you?! Where's JJ?!"
A look of pain went over David's otherwise neutral face, "Dead... we're at the Digital Queen's stronghold..."
I heard a gasp from behind me, and whirled around to see Vierra and Cassy standing behind me. Tears had gathered in Vierra's eyes.
"My brother..? Is dead..?" Vierra was so young, she didn't deserve this on her chest.
"I'll take Cassy and YJ and try to get everyone else out of there," I told the eleven-year-old.
"No," she snapped angrily, "I'm going to kill the bitch that caused my brother to die!"
Then, with no other words, Vierra ran out of the hideout. I ran after her right away, Cassy and YJ following closely.
I'm sorry, this has been abandoned, I have some notes for how this was supposed to go and will post that soon. I'm so sorry if you were looking forward to the ending. I may go back and fix this up a bit. I have switched over to AO3 almost entirely. My username there is Manye05, if you want to follow any of my works over there.
