Episode 61

Song: Confident

(Florella's POV)

I glanced around and noticed we were one person short. I looked at Juliet alarmed and she looked around as well. 

I whispered, "Where's David!" 

Everyone looked around at the group and then scanned the town. I happened to glance at Kalie and noticed her whip was missing. 

"K-Kalie, you don't happen to have your whip back at the clearing do you?", I whispered. 

She shook her head and whispered, "It's right h-", she trailed off trying to grab where her whip should be. 

She looked at me with wide eyes. I nodded, David had taken her whip and gone into the village. I grabbed Julie and TJ's hands. Oh, you didn't know I called Julieta, Julie a lot? I pulled them a little farther into the woods, where we could still see the others. 

"What do we do?", I whispered to them. 

TJ shrugged and Julieta said, "We don't know where he is, but Floral, you have 29 beings to take care of. We should send out one person with their Digimon to look for him, the rest of us should, should?" 

She stopped and looked at me the question, and the doubt, clear in her eyes. 

"Find a place near here to hide, while I go get him, with a volunteer." 

TJ and Julieta looked shocked, I don't know why. It's obvious I should be leading, isn't it? I led them back over to the others. 

I said to the group, "I'm going to find him, I'll take one person, raise your hand if you wanna come." 

TJ and JJ both raised their hands. I was tempted to choose TJ, but he's the only person I would trust to watch over Julie while I'm gone. 

I grabbed his hand and pulled it down whispering, "I need you here." 

He nodded to me and I walked over to JJ. 

I said, "Grab your Digi, we need to find him." 

I pick up Salamon and pulled a knife. He nodded and grabbed his Bukamon. I nodded to him and led the way carefully down to the village. We snuck through the village incapacitating every Vilemon we found. We checked every house, corner, and roof. Except, one beat up house. 

I pointed to it and he nodded. We went that way and I quietly opened the door. There he was, JJ ran straight in and tackled him. David seemed surprised and a little angry at first, but then he smiled. 

I walked over to them, closing the door behind me and said, "Ok you two get up." 

They were both blushing, but neither one seemed to notice. The got up quickly and stood next to each other. I noticed that JJ now had a small piece of paper in his hand. I smirked at the two of them and then turned around to see 20 to 30 Digimon behind me. They started badgering me with questions. 

They asked, "What's it like to have a helper? What's it like to be in charge of so many organisms? Is it hard to dual wield weapons? What's your last name?" 

I answered as fast as I could, "It's really weird. It's difficult trying to keep track of them all, it seems like as soon as I turn around one is gone. It isn't that hard, now that I've mastered them. And my full name is Florella May Wakatashi-Izumi, but most people say my last name is Izumi."
