Episode 53

(Winter's POV)

I ran quickly after Monah and Melodee, after all, Monah is Tony's sister. They're also part of the group. I got there just in time to watch Monah slip out of Melodee's grip. I gripped her shoulders and held her back as she attempted to leap off the edge after her. I pulled her farther from the edge, it was difficult since she was kicking and screaming. I left her with everyone else and quickly snuck off back to the hole. 

I started to quickly climb down. I heard someone clear their throat above me. I looked up and saw Florella and TJ. I kept climbing down increasingly quickly. I saw a rock bounce past me. I looked up and saw Florella slowly climbing down above me, TJ was at the top behind her. He was facing away, most likely guarding it. I continued climbing down until I reached the bottom. I looked up and saw Florella was only a couple feet above me. I waited for a moment until she reached the bottom. 

I looked around us. The cave only went one way. Me and Florella exchanged a look and then nodded to each other. We went running down the cave, ahead of us I saw something moving. I slowed down and pointed. 

I heard muttering, something about, "She'll never love me." I recognized the voice as Monah. 

I ran up to her and looked her straight in the eye. I grabbed her arm and saw Florella run up and grab her other arm. We guided her to the exit. I turned back to her and looked her dead in her eye. 

I said, "Are you ok? Melodee is up there fighting against everyone to throw herself down this hole after you." 

Her eyes widened and she looked up. She started smiling and then started climbing up the wall. Me and Florella followed close behind her. We made it to the top and saw TJ was having trouble getting Melodee to stay away from the hole. Monah saw her and smiled, I felt a hand grab my arm. It pulled me away from the two couples. I turned around ready for a fight, but it was Tony. My anger melted immediately. 

He smiled at me and then said, "I thought we should probably leave them alone." 

I smiled at him. He thought for a moment and then the smile fell from his face. 

"Winter," he said, "I've got to tell you something." 

I was immediately afraid I'd done something wrong. 

He looked to the ground and said, "I'm supposed to marry Cassy." 

I felt a tear fall to the ground, I said, "Let it out. Been building up you better let it out. Say everything that you've been meaning now. I want it to burn. When you tell me that I'm such a wreck. It isn't easy cleaning up your mess. It's like I've got a rope around my neck. He says it won't hurt. But everything you do makes my heart race. I can't even think straight. Is this just a game to you? Reruns every night. It's always the same fight. I think you should know... I HATE YOUR TOUCH, I HATE YOUR MOUTH, I CAN'T STAND EVERY SINGLE WORD THAT FALLS OUT.
