Episode 7

Song: Girls Like Girls

(3rd Person POV)

They continued finding the crests until one day they found the evil they had been sent to defeat at this point they had found all the crests. 

Myotismon tried to attack them but he failed. They fled to Gennai's, the creepy guy who was upset at  Mãnye and told them to come to the continent, house. 

Mãnye and Gennai avoided each other except for when he told them how to open the doorway to their world where Myotismon already was looking for the last child. They got to the room that the doorway is in and Mãnye sort of recognizes it. Izzy figures out the code all except 2 cards which Tai guesses at. They make it and they end up back at summer camp. 

Mãnye automatically makes it look like she's been packing. She runs to the others and throws them their bags. The Digimon come over and Mãnye pretends Salamon is an injured animal. The hide their Digimon as the camp leader comes over and tells them to get to the bus. 

Mãnye leads the way to the camp bus and they get dropped off in their hometown which Mãnye talks them into going to first. They go to Tai's house first and Mãnye stays there with Kari while they look for the last child because they think she lives across the river.

( Mãnye's POV)

"Izzy knows I don't live across the river. I live in the same apartment building as him even. Why did I even want to stay here with Kari? I'm not even out looking for the child. I haven't left and for some reason, I don't plan to. I need to protect Kari from all Myotismon's goons. Especially that bat Digimon  Demidevimon. Wait why don't I care about that cat Digimon Gatomon? I hope I can protect her. Do I only want to protect her because she's Tai's sister or is there more to it than that? What do I know?"  

"Ugh, I'm confused!", I yell annoyed. 

"Why?", Kari asks. 

"Shoot I forgot she was here!" 

"Oh, just a project I've been working on!", I laugh and put my arm behind my head. 

"Is it because of all the Digimon that are wandering around?", Kari says and looks me in the eye.

 Even though she's two years younger than me she sometimes acts older than me. 

I asked astonished,"How did you know Kari?" 

"I've been seeing them all around town. They're looking at all the children trying to find someone.", she says plainly. 

I look at her and smile showing her my digivice, "Have you seen any of these around?" 

Kari nods and says, "My cat had one when she went outside yesterday." 

I gasped and thought, "Could it be her? The last DigiDestined child."  

"Kari where did the cat get it from?", I asked her calmly. 

Kari thought for a moment then said, "Under the cabinet in the living room." 

"Where were you when the device got there?", I ask intrigued. 

Kari thought again and said, "I was on the couch next to the cabinet."  

"It has to be her why else would it be there we weren't here so it couldn't have been Tai's. I have to call the others!"  

"Kari, can I make a phone call?", I ask. 

Kari nods and then she leads me to the phone. 

I call all the others and tell them, "I found the child. Find their digivice, they lost it. I'll protect her, I mean them."
