Episode 18

Song: Her Last Words

I think since I've only done 30% of all the characters (that would be twenty characters if we include the Digimon it would be 60% if we don't count the Digimon) so I decided to use different POVs in this episode.

(Sora's POV)

I was looking around for Matt and I called out his name, "Matt!" 

I had yelled as loud as I could but couldn't hear a response. I looked behind me and saw Joe's head hung. 

I walked over and said softly, "Joe? Do you know what happened to Matt?" 

He nodded and said, "He and Gabumon walked into the forest right before Puppetmon came. You know when everyone was focused on  Mãnye acting really weird." 

He turned and walked off slowly, "He just walked off leaving Tk?" 

I thought. My only problem with that is that he wouldn't leave Tk. Would he? I walked along the path through the forest he had been closest too. I got a few feet in when Biyomon caught up to me. 

I heard an argument between Tai and someone who was silent, most likely Mãnye, they were fighting about me going. I kept walking ignoring Tai's yelling. I heard a branch snap behind me. I turned around and saw Luna. 

"You shouldn't go bye yourself and besides Tai seems to care about you more than anyone else right now," she said. 

She had mumbled the last part but it was a quiet forest for now. I turned and kept walking. I found myself at a crossroads. I looked at the ground for tracks and noticed Matt's shoe print and Gabumon's pawprint on the ground. I followed them down another path. I came up to an opening and hid in the bushes. Matt was talking to a tree Digimon. The Digimon convinced Matt to look into the pond in the center of the clearing. He looked in and I saw what he was looking at. It was a reflection of Tai. 

The Digimon said, "The one you call Tai is the one keeping you from changing." 

Matt laughed and argued that Tai was his friend. I sighed and Gabumon turned to us but we hid. I turned back and what I heard broke my heart. 

The Digimon said, "Friendship, loyalty, comrades fine sounding words but that's all they are. You don't really believe in them." 

I looked at Matt and his face delivered the final blow. His face showed that the Digimon was telling the truth or at least Matt's version of the truth. I ran away crying and I could tell Matt heard me but I didn't turn back around. I ran all the way back to the others until when I got there I found Mãnye who immediately wrapped me in a hug. She looked around quickly and took my hand running to the others. 

She winced and said, "Get ready to fight," in a raspy voice. 

Salamon digivolved to Gatomon and Mãnye turned to the opposite side of the small meadow we were in. Soon we saw disgusting Digimon that Izzy identified as Garbagemon.

That was quicker than I thought it would be.
