Episode 11

Song: This is Home

(Mãnye's POV)

Kari and I were in a bubble. Kari held onto my arm and silently prayed that we'd be alright. Demidevimon came over to us and Phantomon and I glared at him. Demidevimon flew off toward the convention center. Phantomon flew us to the TV station and into this weird ball in the center on the top. I knew right away I was about to see the Digimon that was holding my parents and hundreds of other people prisoner. As soon as he came in I immediately hated him. 

I hadn't seen him before in person closely. I glared at him and Kari just stared. He immediately brought out Gatomon and we both gasped. 

Kari was about to take up step forward but I said, "Mãnye  go back to the other's I'll be fine." 

She immediately understood what she was doing so she played along and said, "Kari I'll never leave you with Myotismon." 

Gatomon looked at us a little confused but soon caught on. 

Myotismon chuckled, "Kari that's your name?", he said looking at me. 

"Yes I am", I replied quickly. 

"Hmm, Gatomon do you know this child?", he asks holding her up.  

"No, I don't know her.", Gatomon says automatically. 

Myotismon snaps his fingers and Demidevimon pulls my hair. I yell out and I heard Salamon and Gatomon clench their teeth so as not to yell out as well. 

"Hmm, the girl, destroy her.", Myotismon says to Phantomon. 

"No!", Kari, Gatomon, and Salamon all yell out. 

They all looked confused. "Who was that third voice?", Myotismon asked poking Salamon with one finger. 

She squirmed and the crest showed a little. 

"A DigiDestined?", Myotismon asked confused, "Then who is this?" 

I looked at Kari and jumped Demidevimon while Salamon jumped out digivolving and attacking Myotismon. 

"Kari run", I yelled while her little Gatomon runs towards her. 

"So you're not Kari that makes you the ninth DigiDestined. The child of Life." 

I smiled standing on Demidevimon with one foot holding Phantomon with both hands. Myotismon threw my Digimon across the room. My smile immediately dropped as I ran to block the stairs letting go of Phantomon and Demidevimon to block the whole of the stairway with just myself. 

"You have to get through me first." 

All the sudden my crest started glowing. I realized by throwing myself in front of the stairway I was giving others the chance of life, Gatomon digivolved to Goddessmon. 

(A fake Digimon I made up just like Eclipsomon and all his evolutions.) 

She grabbed Phantomon and Demidevimon. I stood alone against Myotismon, between him and something he really wanted to get to, I stood strong. I wasn't afraid for some reason I knew I wouldn't die today. I still had worlds to save. 

(Kari's POV)

I ran down the stairs and bumped into the others. Together we ran back up the stairs and in front of me, I saw a Digimon holding Phantomon and Demidevimon. I also saw  Mãnye between us and Myotismon. Myotismon saw me and smiled. He slowly walked forward. I looked at the group around and finally noticed Wizardmon in the back. 

Everyone else went in front of me including the Digimon. Now there was a large barrier between me and Myotismon with Gatomon watching his every step. 

He continued advancing until he reached  Mãnye he reached down and grabbed her chin, "Move." , was all he said then he took a step back as to let her step out of the way but she stayed very still. 

He stepped forward again and put his hand on her shoulder, "Move", he said again a little more aggressively. 

She moved her arm behind her back and smiled. I saw that she grabbed Izzy's hand who was right behind her. Myotismon tried shoving her out of the way but she pulled herself right back with Izzy's help.

"Hey look at that I bounced back", Mãnye said sarcastically. 

Myotismon backhanded her in the face which sent her flying. Izzy left his post and ran after her. Tentomon followed Izzy. 

"That's 3 down." I thought.

I'm tired I had a long day and It's gonna be a long night so I'll leave you here. Remember none of the DigiDestined die the only ones that will be reprogrammed is Myotismon, Phantomon, Demidevimon, and Wizardmon.
