Episode 28

Song: My R

(Mãnye's POV)

"Mãnye wait!", Izzy yelled. 

I glanced back but kept walking. I reached the hole and jumped down landing lightly on my feet. I looked up and saw Izzy. 

"I wish this hole would close so that I couldn't see him." 

I kept watching in astonishment as the hole closed itself. I climbed up as high as I could before hitting the new rock roof. I listened and heard pounding on the rock above me. It wasn't very thick and I could hear Izzy yelling. I hit it twice and then pushed up on it just enough to jostle a rock lose. I looked through the new hole in the rock. I saw Izzy and Salamon looking at the tiny hole that had just opened. 

I pushed through just large enough to reach my hand through. I reached through the hole and started signing not to look for me. Someone grabbed my hand. 

"Mãnye please don't go. Come out," I didn't know who it was. 

Who was I signing to anyway? Why wasn't I at the bottom of this hole? Who am I? 

I pulled my hand down and looked through the hole. A boy with red hair was staring down at me intently. I screamed and fell to the bottom. I saw two ways to go through the cave system around me. I saw rocks fall down around me. I looked up and saw something was breaking the rock above me. I ran down the right tunnel as the largest piece fell towards me. 

I threw myself onto the ground and put my hands over my head. I felt a hand on my shoulder. I screamed and curled up into a little ball. The hand gripped my shoulder and turned me to look at them. It was the red-haired boy. 

He smiled at me and I grabbed his hand pushing him away, "Who are you?", I said. 

"Mãnye? What do you mean? I'm your best friend and well I really like you." 

"I don't know you," I said. 

He looked at me and I saw sadness plastered all over his face. He grabbed my hand. I saw Kari come over. 

"Kari!", I said. 

The boy just looked from Kari to me. 

Kari said, "Mãnye can you sit here with Salamon?" 

"Sure I can stay here with Salamon," I said. 

I don't know where they went but I just pet Salamon and said, "Who was that guy anyway?"

Before she could answer I heard Kari call, "Mãnye could you and Salamon come here."

I picked up Salamon and walked to Kari. 

She told me, "Close your eyes." 

I listened and closed my eyes. I heard shuffling and Salamon jumped out of my arms. 

Kari said, "OK open." 

I opened my eyes and 13 pairs of eyes stared back at me. Kari was at on end and said, "Tell us our names." 

I started at Kari and started saying as I walked down the row, "Kari, Gatomon, Luna, Eclipsomon, Tai, Agumon, Tk, Patamon, Sora, Biyomon, Salamon, and um I don't know these two." 

Something in the back of my head screamed, "Yes you do!" 

Kari walked over to me, put a hand on my shoulder, and then said, "What's your name?" 

"From what I've heard you say, my name is Mãnye," I said slowly.

Why doesn't  Mãnye remember who she is? Why doesn't she remember Izzy and Tentomon? What's this black aura? Will she remember? Does she remember her 'helper'?
