Episode 8

Song: Must Have Been The Wind

(Kari's POV)

I heard Mãnye in the other room on the phone say something about finding someone important and for the others to find something called a digivice. I was super confused but just let it slide for now. I can't wait to find out who she found that was so important. Maybe I can help protect them! I wonder why she didn't tell them the name? 

"Hey, Mãnye? Who did you find that was so important?", I asked. 

"You", I heard her whisper under her breath. 

"Me? But I'm not important enough to have to protect. I must've missed a few words or something yeah."

 "Did you say it was me.", I asked even though I had told myself I didn't want to. 

Mãnye looked over at me but didn't respond. I couldn't take that as a yes or a no so I just sat down and turned on cartoons.  Mãnye sat down next to me instead of leaving to go protect whoever it was. I wouldn't admit it could be me too myself. I wish I could've done more to get answers but I gave up too easily. 

"Mãnye?", I asked. 

"Hmm?", she acknowledged. 

"What's a digivice?", I asked.

She simply held up a device like the one my cat had run off with. 

"So did my cat run off with the important persons?", I asked. 

She simply nods and puts the device back in her pocket. I heard a meow and went to let my cat in. It wasn't my cat it looked different than any cat I'd ever seen. 

"Are you a Digimon?", I asked it. 

The cat just walked in and meowed again. Mãnye walked into the other room and locked the door. I sat down on the couch and went back to watching cartoons.

(Gatomon's POV)

The girl let me in and the other one left. The one who had let me in sat down on the couch. If she was the last DigiDestined than I had to kill her. 

I jumped onto the back of the couch and I raised my paw to the back of her neck but she turned around and said, "Hi!" I fell backward and ran out of the apartment. 

I jumped onto the building over one and stared through the window as the other girl came back out. 

Wizardmon interrupted my thinking and said, "I found something for you." 

I turned to look at him and he held out the digivice of the last DigiDestined. 

"Where did you get that?", I asked quickly. 

He replied, "I found it in a crows nest. I think the identity of the last DigiDestined lies in your own heart." 

I jumped up and took the digivice. Wizardmon took my paw and we flew down to Kari's balcony. Kari had just let her cat Miko in so she was on the balcony. 

She said, "Oh hello you're Mãnye's friend, aren't you?" 

Wizardmon moved my paw with the digivice towards Kari. She reached out and touched it. There was a light and Mãnye came outside with a Salamon. 

"A Gatomon?", the young Salamon said. 

All the sudden that little Salamon digivolved to Gatomon. This Gatomon had pink instead of purple tufts of fur. 

"Kari, yes you are that important person I just needed to wait to find your Digimon and your digivice. Now that they are found I can tell the others to meet us," Mãnye says to Kari.

 Wizardmon said, "We must get your crest. Now."

So I took a while to make this one and I actually got Grammarly to help me with mistakes. So I hope you find the quality better.
